Mister Slim Says: Kings get their first win on the road and, after a day off, arrive in Denver to play the Nuggets. Nikola Jokić is as dominant as ever; the rest of the team, hit or miss. It seems improbable on paper, but this could be the Kings' third win of the season.

Domas always seems to get up for Joker. Should be a good bigman battle if nothing else!

I also feel like there is a very good chance Gordon destroys us tonight.

I wonder, what are Monks personal reasons. Kings transformation made him question reality? All the jokes aside - I wish him all the best. We need time to get back to OK when something happens.
OK, back to bball stuff. I think I had enough time already to process all the latest Kings "happenings". What the bleep - let's go Kings! If these Kings were in the Eastern Conference - everybody would be high on them to win the East. Ifs don't fly in real world.
Can Kings look decent in the West? I'll give it a try.
Kings have pretty darn good scorers in Zach, Domas and DDR (I never ever wanted DDR to be in the uni of a team that I'm rooting for, I'll just suffer in silence for now :) ). Monk is elite from the bench.
I watched lots of available games were Domas played since he was 15 (played in Euro U16 for LTU team). At first he learnt to score in the paint. We all know that he is not a very esthetic shooter as the distance from the rim increases. Next step was reading the game and polishing his ball passing. The last thing - dribble the ball.
Now Kings have Zach and DDR that like have to rock in their hands and make something happen. With Domas around their scoring effectiveness is definitely better. So, Domas became less of an offensive hub. He should score by himself in the paint more.
I got carried away. Modern NBA is about launching thress and attacking the rim. Successfull teams do everything with insane speed. OK, lets win by scoring more.
Whatever decisions and choises Kings organization will make - no need for me to have a headache. I just want that whatever Kings do to make some sense :)

Anyone up for a game of "who will be the random 5th starter today"?

So far the pattern is:

Game 1 (@ PHX): Nique Clifford (RESULT: L)
Game 2 (vs. UTH): Isaac Jones (RESULT: W)
Game 3 (vs. LAL): Keon Ellis (RESULT: L)
Game 4 (@OKC): Russell Westbrook (RESULT: L)
Game 5 (@ CHI): Russell Westbrook (RESULT: L)
Game 6 (@MIL): Dylan Cardwell (RESULT: W)

Considering Russ is the only guy to get the job twice this season and he's coming off a double-double, I'm guessing he gets the starting spot tonight.

And regarding the poll question, my opinion on sandwiches is highly dependent on whether or not they are toasted. Panini that sucker and I'm most likely gonna eat it.

Give me a good (vegetarian) sandwich any day of the week, and you will have yourself a friend.
Give me an ice cold root beer to go along with it, and you will have yourself a friend for life.
Should an ice cold root beer not be a part of your inventory, then an ice cold ginger ale or ginger beer will do.
If neither of those are a part of your beverage inventory, I will have to question your insanity.
And you better have some Fanta.
If THAT, too, is not part of your beverage inventory, then you most likely don't have yourself much of a beverage inventory!

A nice po'boy or French Dip and I'm a happy camper. Heck, a good turkey sandwich after Thanksgiving or Philly cheesesteak are great as well. Even the lowly grilled cheese is great if done right.

Domas hasn't touched the ball the last 5 possessions. Notice how Jokic-centric everything the Nuggets do? It's Russ/DDR show right now taking turns shooting the ball.

Denver has had like 4 days off and this is the final game of a road trip in that high altitude. I fully believe the Kings will be more competitive than the score indicates. This is a championship team we’re playing here
