That's why I go off a template: if I can think of something pithy to say, cool. If not, I just plug in all the current data, and keep it moving.

Today didn't work out, though: had to get up at 5 to take my dad to dialysis, and barely had an hour after picking him up before I had to drive both him and my mom to doctor's appointments. Just got back about an hour ago, which didn't leave much lead time to work on the [Game] thread.

I pushed back on the idea that trading for KD was a good move for the Suns and now I'll push back on trading him away being a bad one. They got Jalen Green (most likely a future All-Star) from Houston in addition to draft picks that they used to take two defensive big men that I thought very highly off in this year's draft (Rasheer Fleming and Khaman Maluach).

In addition to that trade, they also gave up almost nothing to get Mark Williams who will almost certainly get injured again but in the time that he's healthy and able to play basketball he's been one of the better centers in the league. Nick Richards is a solid backup C and an absolute luxury with all of the other bigs they've stockpiled. I wish we had that kind of frontcourt depth on our roster. And I expect that Dillon Brooks will have them playing with an edge that they desperately need after last year's prolonged moping session of a season. I'm not in the habit of praising Ishbia, but I like the moves they made this off-season and expect this year's Suns team to sneak up on people and be better than their pre-season projections.
 
The studio show works much better with three people than when it’s just Draper and Mo or Deuce. (Guessing Point Gawd isn’t back this season?)
 
I am baffled by the nbc sports net California viewing ability I go there and it’s soccer says game is on +. I go there and nothing. What am I doing wrong?
 
As an international viewer, you used to be able to pay for one game at a time on NBA.com but now it seems you have to sign up for a full league pass subscription, which I'm not sure I want to do this year.
