I agree with that and also ready to buy into Carter, but my generalization is that people are too eager to anoint someone "King" on one performance. I need to see him more than once to get excited. I need to see the Kings win more than one to think we've turned the page, so to speak, as well...

Honest question: Who are the historically good/great 3PT shooters on our roster? I think it seems more likely that we had lightning in a bottle during Brown's first season. Seems to get progressively worse across the board (Keon is nice on a low volume. Fox has improved, but still mediocre).

Sadly, most came to that conclusion 2 seasons ago. Management has done nothing to address needed length. We're going to do a massive overpay to bring in someone like Jeremi Grant, who may not even address our needs.

Things seem to go better when they attack the paint.

This team frustrates me in their stupidity. When will they touch the paint? When will they go for higher% 2s instead of hurried 3s? Terrible coaching. Terrible leadership on the floor. This team should be better.

Hitting 2PT FG also makes the other team take the ball out of bounds and allows the Kings to set their defense. The effect would be more than just FGs made

My biggest takeaway for this season (so far) is they did nothing to address their awfully bad three-point defense. My biggest takeaway from this game is how much I hate Chris Paul.

I agree. The injury that sidelined him at the start seemed to prevent him from ever really getting into a flow. Felt like he was forcing the action and trying to make up for lost time.

This is my biggest fear: Monte focuses solely on BI and these others get swooped up. Then the deal disintegrates and we are running it back.
