    Why Isn't Sasha Playing?

Sasha clearly wasn't interested in trying to stick it out in the NBA, but watching Duarte play more than you has to be deflating. Sasha was supposedly the best shooter on the team, and should've gotten a steady 15+ minutes every night.

Kings have the best starting lineup in the league

Neat, but I'd rather see that distributed so they win at the end of 48 minutes, and reach the end of the season without burning them out.

[Game] (Preseason)Kings vs Warriors, 10/9/2024 7:30PM Pacific, 10:30PM East (ESPN)

I knew going from Barnes to DeRozan would be huge, but seeing it is exciting.

Who Would You Start on Opening Day?

Yeah, and when GPII had his "breakout" he was already 29, Keon is still only 24.

    KING DEMAR

Even if DeRozan has a dropoff in production, he is miles ahead of what Barnes provides. Keegan can focus on defense and sniping threes, and who better to learn creating offense from.

    Welcome Jalen McDaniels

I don't understand salary dumping lower salary players. It's one thing to dump Rashaun or Huerter for flexibility. But unless he has a move already setup, this doesn't look good. I don't like creating space just in case you can make a move. You turned 2 backend rotation players into a single...

    Draft Day!

Ok he's 6-2.5 but has a bigger wingspan than Huerter. He would be listed as 6-4 or 6-5 in the old days with shoes. Playing the 2/3 is not an issue.

    Welcome Devin Carter

    I will always welcome defense

    Why Isn't Sasha Playing?

Maybe he gets a chance to turn it around in Sac. All the talk last offseason about him breaking team shooting records leave me hopeful.

    Why Isn't Sasha Playing?

Watching every minute Duarte got at the 3 must've killed him inside.

“RUN IT BACK!” / Monte needs to fix this.

There isn't much of a gap between the team's 5th best player and 14th best player. McGee was a rotation player, then Len. Barnes can be outplayed by Lyles. Duarte was starting ahead of Huerter, and eventually was behind Keesler Edwards. They were all ahead of Sasha, who was playing important...

    [Game] Kings @ Pelicans (Play-In Tournament) - 4/19 6:30PM PDT/9:30 PM EDT

He was a good player before Sac, was no where close to an all star in Sac, and fell on his face under Adelman in Houston.

I'm the biggest Adelman fan but that is not remotely true.

    FIRE MIKE BROWN

The team has 2 second tier stars, a really nice young player and a good 6th man. The the rest of the roster are backend rotation players. The coach isn't the problem.

    Why Isn't Sasha Playing?

Sasha was going to have an uphill battle getting PT this year and I was pleasantly surprised when he got some decent action early on. But if he's healthy, and with Monk and Heurter out, there is no way he isn't one of the top 9 guys on the team.

    Why Isn't Sasha Playing?

HB is the effectively the 5th option (when Huerter starts), but he isn't a good enough defender or rebounder to contribute in that role. Not his fault, but most of his value is his offense. For all the talk about his efficiency, it's essentially been the same for the last 4 years. So it's not...

    Sasha signed!!!

The whole team talked this off-season about how Vezenkov is their best shooter. And for all his faults, it has not been glaring enough that he can't play 15 minutes a night against other benches. Especially with the pace that they want to play at, no need to burn the starters out.
