Napear Goes Off on THE Bee Again

Seems like muss was trying to at least find a nice way to say he didn't want to give his number to any dork reporter who asks and then get calls all the time. Sounds ruder that way but why would you want to give this guy your number anyway, he'd just hand it out when he decides to backstab you...

Bee: Little-used Taylor making impact for Kings

So let's see, what should he do to set that foundation...I give up, can't think of anything.

Bee: Little-used Taylor making impact for Kings

Do people just not understand that the coach's point is to send a message that if players aren't going to be aggressive, (or rebound, or defend) he'll take them out and find someone who will? Why do people act like Muss just made up this concept after 15 beers?

    Dont Blame MUSS !

This is actually true and sort of made me wonder if we were really trying too hard to win the game. The Douby play you mentioned and all the shots for Cisco...well, as I recall everyone complained Adelman didn't have a flexible enough rotation. It's starting to work a bit actually. So its...

    Dont Blame MUSS !

Totally agree with the original post, its silly to call for his head like this roster is supposed to be taking us places. Do we really even want a replacement coach, what would be the point...the slight chance we could get a 1st round exit and miss the lottery? If he's not bad, we're still a...

    Grades v. Lakers 01/04

Yeah I agree. I think the team memo just says to develop the young players though and they don't actually say the T word. There is a certain sense of casually experimenting, and I don't think its because Muss is just that stupid like people seem to assume. Seems more like a memo. It does...

    Notes from KHTK's Kings Talk

Fans always scapegoat the coaches anyway, I think its just a badly phrased quote. This team is actually showing some signs lately, IMO, but its a work in progress. I also sort of wonder if there's a lot of urgency from on high to win games, or to develop the coughdraftpickcough rookies...

    Lakers @ Kings Game Thread

Why is it all on the coach that our short guys got crushed on the boards, then struggled back and had a winnable game slip away? Every time Muss scribbled on that board someone got a pretty good shot, seems like....problem was more Garcia (and others) bricking them, lack of rebounding(size)...

    Lakers @ Kings Game Thread

Hat's off to Chuck, he battled all night. He's actually quite good, coaching both teams and calling the fouls too. Its nice to listen to someone who doesn't tiptoe around trying not to hurt anyone's feelings. Wouldn't mind a bit if he took Kerr's starting job and raced Bavetta at halftimes...

Muss needs to grab some rebounds but Phil is too tall for him.

Bad News! Barkley To Announce Thursday's Kings/Lakers...

Weird, I think Chuck is pretty funny. Wish I had the link, there was an ESPN2 article behind the scenes of the TNT show, I guess he tends to down some beers while watching the games on the monitors and then ramble a bit later on. I can relate. As far as Barkley vs the Kings, I can remember...

    Welcome back Justin Williams!

Actually I wouldn't be a bit surprised...hrm you're right I threw that out there as a guy I vaguely thought was about 6'10. 2 inches under is about normal though. No matter. I'm not saying JW can't have a nice career at 6'7. I believe in the effort on the court more than a certain size...

    Welcome back Justin Williams!

Okay, I'll be the cynic and say maybe somebody upstairs reads the board and just got tired of the JW threads. :D Either way it makes perfect sense to give him a cheap 10 day and see what happens in a real game. Any big with effort can be great to have, I'd be happy with an athletic madsen...

    Meanwhile Justin Williams is.........

Let's see, I found an online statistics calculator that converts NBDL statistics into what would happen in the NBA...plugging in Justin's numbers now...it translates into....."DNP-CD"! Wow, wish we had that to fall back on. That IS exciting. The whole league is made up of, basically, the NBA...

(Bee)Kings notes: Defensive performance has jumped up a notch

Heh. Yeah, its unbelievable the way people refuse to just believe that an injury occurred just the way they said. Darn it people, don't you understand we give everyone the benefit of the doubt here? Do not, I repeat do not, continue with this unfair skepticism about Ron Artest. Do not...

    The Artest superstar myth

What ifs dont matter, we need people who can play basketball here. If we had the right team we wouldn't need scottie pippen either.

Bee:Q&A With Kings Co-owner Gavin Maloof

Yeah, we could do worse than owners who spend the salary cap and try to hire good basketball people to figure stuff out. Serously. I sort of miss our old offense, you could run that with lots of people and win some games. Go draft bobby hurley and pervous ten times in a row then complain...

    2007 Projected Lottery Picks

Forget tiago splitter, I feel we could do better than some 4 draft wonder. Actually I'd like to have 2 or 3 picks, that'd rock.
