    2010-11 Draft position watch

my prediction base on the way Kings are playing right now and the strength of the Kings' remaining schedule. They should win 12 +/- 2 games. So, that is a total of 22 wins at worst and 26 wins at best.

So if ever we get the number 1 pick...

Let's assume that we get the number 1 pick. What about draft John Wall with the #1 pick and trade Evans for the #2 pick to draft either Cousins or Turner? This way we avoid the potential conflict of having two players who want to dominate the ball on the same team. It sounds crazy to trade a...

Rockets could lose Yao for season, if not longer

You know what happen when the last Texas team that has its superstar center injured for an entire season? It ended up drafting Tim Duncan and won four NBA championships in 10 years. Same thing might happen to the Rockets if they draft John Wall next year.

    Official 2009 Nba Draft Thread

The Kings are batting for the home run. Evans just might become the next Wade, both are undersized SG drafted at number 4.

    Brandon Jennings #4

Just swing for the home run pick Jennings. He might take two years to become a good player. In the mean time, the Kings will continue to suck and has a good chance winning the draft lottery next year. Imagine the Kings end up selecting John Wall next year.

Yao Ming's future with Houston (split from LAL/HOU thread)

Yao Ming will probably leave Houston after 2010 because there is not much future for him if he stays with the Rockets. Teams with a bonafide number #1 such as Miami (Wade) or New Orlean (CP3) or Portland (Roy) will be Yao Ming's top choices. Some will say those teams don't have much money to...

    [LAL/HOU] - Western Conference, Round 2

the leagues wouldn't allow the Lakers to lose this series If the Lakers are in danger of losing this series, the refs. will definitely start calling fouls if any Rocket player dare to breath near Kobe. David Sterns will allow the Rockets to win one more game at Houston to appease their fans.

    2009 NBA Playoffs Thread

writing is already on the wall The Lakers are going to crush the Rockets in 5 games. LBJ and Co. are going to cruise through the Eastern Conference playoff. Then we will all see David Stern's dream match up, Kobe vs LBJ, in the NBA Final. Kobe will lead the Lakers to win the championship in...

Kevin Martin is not a franchise player

All superstars are franchise players but not all franchise players are superstars. For mediocore or bad teams, their franchise player might just be an allstar-level player. Neither Roy or Martin is a franchise-level player yet. However, I think Roy has a higher probability in becoming...

Kevin Martin is not a franchise player

You are being too loose in labling "superstars". IMHO ATLANTIC Boston - (3) - KG, Pierce, Ray Allen (KG is a superstar, Pierce and Allen are allstars) New Jersey - Vince Carter?? (allstar) Philly - None. Brand??? (allstar) NY - None Toronto - Bosh (close to being a superstar...

    The Miller Impact

Brad probably will not resign with the Kings after his current contract expires because his next contract will probably be his last. Brad has enough skills to help out a championship contending team. With the way things are shaping up right now, the Kings (barring a superstar point guard or...

    Grades v. Timberwolves 11/07

The only way for a player to build confidence and get better is through playing in real games. JT needs to play about 15 to 20 minutes per game and at least five minutes per stint. Otherwise, he will always feel that he is in a rush to make something happen while on court.

    Grades v. Grizzlies 11/05

Having centers or power forwards who prefer shooting perimeter jumpshots is the reason why the Kings will continue be out rebounded by most teams. The Kings big men are simply too far away from the hoop to grab offensive rebounds. Furthermore, good low post players can cause the opposing big...

    Kings @ Heat Game Thread

I am too busy now. So, I haven't keep track of the Kings recently. From what I saw in the past, Martin was too one dimensional--all offense and no defense. When Martin's offense was not clicking, he doesn't contribute much in other categories. Does Martin still play the same way?
