T-Rob's biggest problem IMO is who he is playing with. He is the type of big that is going to thrive in the pick and roll/pick and pop. That isn't happening as all of the summer league PGs aren't passers and guards are looking to get their own in summer league.
THIS is our freaking big move!? It's not a bad move...but come on. Don't hype us up that there is going to be a potentially big move coming and then it be us getting some mediocre small forward...
Edit: Looking at it without the "big move" emphasis, it is actually a nice pickup... He's got...
He might have been our most consistent player last season. He was consistently solid last season. He wasn't really ever amazing, but he was almost always productive.
Shotblocking is not all that matters and length is used in many different ways. That length is great for pretty much everything defensively, from being able to get the steal to preventing a man from going by you to grabbing the defensive board.
"Short shotblockers are rarely intimidators...
As, I think it was, Brick mentioned, Colangelo is a "born again Christian," and it seems to me that he is more focused on trying to "reform" DeMarcus than to focus on how he plays basketball.
Agree with you here. Sure, his contract is terrible, but there's no doubting he is an important part of the team. He is by no means a guy who is just sitting collecting paychecks and doing nothing.
Yep, I know. I was referring to how Brick referred to him as our "somewhat undersized" strong college rebounder and implied that was a disadvantage. I wasn't making a comparison to Boozer in that part of my post.
