Essentially a one-year deal to get that stretch-4 to fill the gap they wanted with Anderson.
In this market, I don't see how this can't be considered a good move by Vlade.
I really like the flexibility they are maintaining with both the Afflalo and Tolliver signings.
Afflalo is an upgrade for our SG position this year.
It's a 2 year deal which means that in our FO's eyes he is probably a stop-gap till Bogdan comes next year...and can perhaps still be the starting SG until Bogdan (hopefully) acclimates.
The price-tag is definitely a reasonable one considering...
Considering the contracts being handed out, this one isn't a punch in the gut.
If he can bring any sort of perimeter defense like he did in his early years along with some consistent offense this could prove to be a very nice pick-up.
And I like that it is for 2 years.
Gives us some bargaining...
Christie was my favorite King of the 'Golden Era' and I enjoy listening to him in the booth or on the broadcast.
But let's just say that I'm gun-shy right now when it comes to head-coaches, and I don't know how well Christie would do in the roll.
Here is the way I see it in terms of the new...
Lionel Hollins
Defensive oriented and made it work with Marc Gasol and Z-Bo...so I think he would work with Cousins.
Also, Conley became a good PG (which I wasn't certain was going to happen) under his watch, so perhaps could work with Rondo.
I know he failed with the Nets...but the Nets have...
We flipped the script from last game.
We held them to only 4 points while scoring 27.
WCS played the entire quarter.
Will be curious if he gets any more minutes.
Well we have held them to a single point in the first six minutes of the third quarter.
They have WCS with only two blocks so far, I don't know how they are missing some of these.
A painful first quarter and fact that we are losing by 18 doesn't quite do the poor play justice.
A couple good plays by WCS and Moreland and not much else
Heh
I just started up a game thread.
I am at the game and wondered why no one had started one or was talking about it.
If you can't find it on TV that explains it.
Malone is all class.
He is everything you would want from a leader of your team.
I hope that he has great success as a coach there in Denver. ( provided that it doesnt interfere with the kings success)
