Scott Perry is the new GM of Sacramento Kings

I think Doug has the personality, conviction, and ability to connect with players to be a good head coach. He will need technical/ strategic support.

    McNair gone

Hollinger has been critical of almost everything our front office has done. How can he be unhappy?

Should Monte be the GM next year?

Ok. You have made inferences and crafted a story that concludes with ownership being the root cause of all of the front offices ills. Maybe it's accurate. But it is distinct from my expressed desire for a more reliable description of how much Vivek and others contribute to the front office...

Should Monte be the GM next year?

It would be interesting to know the actual extent to which Vivek influences decisions as well as the extent to which decisions / front office responsibilities were shared between Monte and Wes / others in the front office. So much of what we 'know' about how the Kings are run is based on noise...

Should Monte be the GM next year?

It’s interesting --> I feel that the level of engagement in game threads and other Kings discussion has declined sharply this season – and the content on the board has mostly been dissatisfaction with the on-court product. Yet --> 51 people have voted. >80% think Monte should remain the GM next...

    The trading of Domantas Sabonis.

I don't think it's the worst trade ever but acquiring Lavine hasn't exactly been a winning move. It's so odd, someone here pointed out that after drafting Carter Monte said he was the kind of guy you saw in the playoffs. But Lavine is obviously not that guy. It's like there are two different...

Should Monte be the GM next year?

Getting this out there so you can register your preference before he's potentially moved on.

    He's had personal issues recently!

You know there is a wizards forum somewhere where anyone still paying attention is worried about missing the Lin.

    The trading of Domantas Sabonis.

We had an opportunity to do something with Domas and we sort of did - i.e., the beam team - we also sort of didn't - i.e., running it back. He's great. Better than anyone we have had on the team in ages. But he shouldn't be untouchable.

Meanwhile Chicago playing pretty well without Zach. Is he just a shinier, more expensive HB?

As a King, his best games have been against Charlotte, San Antonio, New Orleans, Portland, and the Clippers. The Clippers are good. His worst games have been against Golden State, Milwaukee, Boston, and New York. I didn't pay much attention to Zach pre Kings. It might not be an issue, or it...

The small sample of games Lavine has played with the Kings says he is fine when the opposition isn't that good but not super impactful against teams that are.

I feel everyone has been on best behaviour. DeMar sharing the ball. Murray and LaVine being aggressive. Sabonis focused, aggressive*. * Feels unfair to say Sabonis wouldn't be engaged...
