Why can't a coach teach a player to shoot a basketball. Shaq has been playing for 16 years and no one could teach him to make a free throw . Anyone can throw a ball like in dodge ball why hasn't his coach taught him to throw it instead of shooting it like he does or can't do now. They make a square just above the rim throw the damn ball at the box and bank the ball. All he has to do is judge the speed. Teams pay coaches to instruct players, the head coach gets his staff coaches to instruct individually.The head coach must pick the correct coaching staff, I wonder sometimes what the heck is really going on with NBA teams with good players but can hardly win a game.
