Kings lose tie breaker, get #7 pick!

I'm just out on Trae Young. Talented offensive player for sure, but I just don't see how he becomes a passable defensive player at the next level. On the shorter side already, small wing-span and (if I'm being generous) average athleticism. PG just isn't the spot in the NBA where you can afford...

Kings lose tie breaker, get #7 pick!

True, but Brad is challenging Pop as the best coach in the NBA. That dude is flat out amazing and legitimately is a franchise-altering talent from the sideline. Joerger just isn't the same level of coaching talent. Point-well taken about him learning to play more aggressively, but I think that...

Kings lose tie breaker, get #7 pick!

I mean, if you looked back to last year on my posts about him, I was all about the Bridges hype-train. I think a lot of him being a little "lower" on him in this draft is I didn't see the growth I wanted to see from him on the offensive end. I preach about it all the time about how much I love...

Kings lose tie breaker, get #7 pick!

But for real, picking 6, 7 or 8 only really matters if Wendell Carter doesn't declare and if Trae Young doesn't go early. We just don't get to have our pick of the Bamba-Bridges-Carter tier if we do end up 8. Trae looks like an absolute lock to the Magic though if they don't move up. We want...

Kings lose tie breaker, get #7 pick!

I for one can't wait to see what a Shumpert-Temple-ZBO-Koufos lead team can do

If we are 9 or 10 do you trade out

Probably, but if Trae Young is sitting their at 6? Talk about an absolute stellar LeBron pitch.... Young Fultz Simmons LeBron Embiid GG rest of the league.

If we are 9 or 10 do you trade out

On offense, no. They both play within themselves and are great shooters, but Doug was more of a passer/playmaker than a scorer, while Mikal will have more of a scorer's mentality in the NBA. On defense though, I can see it. I think Mikal is a guy you put on the best wing every game and then even...

Who do you want, if the Kings pick #6 to #8 overall in the draft?

I don't disagree here and I think JJJ suffered a bit from never really getting a chance to shine on the offensive end, but I still didn't see any sort of offensive polish from him. He's got that tantalizing physical profile and athleticism and I do think he can walk into the NBA and make an...

If we are 9 or 10 do you trade out

I'd do this in a second. Saric is really freaking good and actually underutilized on Philly playing behind Simmons and Embiid. Just a perfect 4 in today's NBA and adds another quality shooter and a playmaker to put next to Fox. Fox-Buddy-Bogdan-Saric would be a potentially great offense.

Who do you want, if the Kings pick #6 to #8 overall in the draft?

I don't know how much of this year could have honestly been prevented. Sure, the George Hill/ZBO led team at the beginning of the year was really stupid, but both guys were honestly pretty bad and actually helped us lose games. ZBO was one of the worst defensive players in basketball this year...

    Let's Talk Fox...

I mean, you can cherry-pick VORP all you want, but it still doesn't change the fact basically all of the rookie PGs have been trash. I guess if you want to say Fox has been the "worst" of them, you can, but not a single one of them outside of Mitchell is "living up to the hype". They're ALL bad...

    Jabari Parker?

That's the spirit! Think of it this way. If Jabari had 0 injury concerns, would you think we would even be in the conversation to sign someone with his talent? Of course not.

    Let's Talk Fox...

    Huh...

    Jabari Parker?

huh? Yeah I'd agree small-ball PF as his best spot, but he's a true 3/4 flex wing. He plays on the wing all the time for the Bucks as they switch Giannis around depending on match-ups. I'd max this dude instantly. To me, the only "cap" capital we lose out on is taking on bad contracts for...

Frank Mason is a 3rd guard.

I think he's a rotation player down the line and anytime you can get one of those with a 2nd-round pick... it's a good pick. But the biggest mistake with drafting him is the fact he isn't Jordan Bell. Yet another draft blunder we'll regret in 3 years.
