[Rumor] Russell Westbrook Expected To Sign With The Sacramento Kings

We sign Westbrook for one year for a min contract, ok whatever. But if we actually make roster moves and dump salaries to make it happen I just might finally give up on this team.

[Game] [VSL Game 1] Kings vs Magic, 7/10/2025 4:30 Pacific 7:30 Eastern (NBATV)

It’s funny when people get to the age where they just don’t give a **** anymore

[Game] [VSL Game 1] Kings vs Magic, 7/10/2025 4:30 Pacific 7:30 Eastern (NBATV)

To be clear, I'm not looking to just dump Carter if he doesn't shine in SL. I just personally need to see more before I get too excited about him at this point. At his size, he needs to be able to either play a little point and/or be a knock down three point shooter. Anything less, and he's a...

I think it's easy for people to excuse poor SL play because of these factors; however, basic talent should rise to the top. Less about him dominating and getting 20+ per game, but if he struggles getting his shot off, finishing at the rim, hitting the three, running the pick and roll, etc., in...

I completely agree with this. If he can't play PG, then his path is even tighter and upside more limited. I also find it pretty surprising he said he doesn't have the experience. The Marcus Smart comp would seem to be the closest from a size, defense, and intangibles perspective. However, I...

    Summer League

lol.. you know his agent must have given him the Quincy Acy reference

    Welcome Maxime Raynaud

I'm really interested to see how Carter performs in summer league. I'm assuming they will have him playing the point for at least some of the games. If he can prove to be at least steady at the point, show that his three point shot is clicking, and that he can efficiently finish on his drives...

    Welcome Maxime Raynaud

Totally agree with this sentiment, and is an example of someone I would want my kids to emulate; however, I think the question is whether he has enough of a nasty streak in him, or if he'll get pushed around in the NBA. I preface, I know nothing about college basketball anymore, but physicality...

    Welcome Isaiah Stevens

Can we just go with this and pass on the Westbrook / Brogdon ideas?

[News] Scott Perry is the new GM of Sacramento Kings

Likewise. I'm viewing this through purely personal entertainment value. I will be much more interested in this team this year if I have some hope we have a young player that could blossom into a star. I love him, but I just can't put Keegan in that category anymore. Keon's development has...

[Rumor] Amick:Kings not prioritizing Lavine extension and are listening to trade offers

I could actually be interested in watching a Sabonis, Murray, Kuminga, Lavine, Schroder lineup. With Keon as a 30 min per game 6th man. The comfort between Lavine and Domas presumably gets better after an offseason together, and removing Deebo and Monk removes a lot of duplication. Definitely...

    Welcome Maxime Raynaud

Outside of this one lone episode where Trey flipped out, I wouldn’t really think of him as an “enforcer”. I mean in general he’s a book loving nice guy.

[News] Kings and Schroder agree on three year 45 million dollar contract. S&T into Huerter TPE

Reading all of these threads and I’m not sure what everyone expects to happen this year. Maybe I’ve just accepted that our current roster is hopeless in the short term. It feels like these are moves to make us competent on the floor with a PG but this whole thing is gonna take longer than a year...

    Welcome Drew Eubanks

I think we generally expect too much right away for 2nd round picks. Yes, exciting to think about what he might become, but I would be surprised if he's legitimately ready to play 15 to 20 min a game to start his NBA career.
