I'd pick vuc over horford for 2 simple reasons. Age and rebounding. Horford is a terrible rebounder and we need a Mr. WINDEX on the glass. Vuc has one of the better rebounding rates in the league.
There's a 32 million cap hold with Barnes until we renounce his bird rights.
So the Kings need to either do that or re-sign him to a smaller but longer deal which would cut into the 59 million by how much he's re-signed for by year one contract size.

Powell is my #1 target. He can replace Willie in the rim running big role and I think he can be had for 15 million annually which is reasonable in this day and age of the NBA
I like JV. He provides the most of what we need at the 5. Defense and rebounding.
DDedmon is like fools gold for me. He checks boxes but ultimately I just don't think he's that good overall.

Rick Pitino is in the market for an nba head coaching gig.
Defensive emphasis. Uptempo pace and space guy. Proven track record that can coach and develop young players.
Id be fine getting their 2022 pick with other compensation as well. Thats the year the high schoolers will be back in and that draft will be LOADED because of it. Having an extra pick could be HUUUUUGE.
Best post in this thread so far and has been some good posts overall.
Thats what I like best about Doncic. Creating a team environment where everyone is a capable and enthusiastic passer. Good passing teams win because they are hard to defend. The only reason I give any pause to Doncic is that...
