I actually think it would be bigger if they stoped a Dwight Howard trade. The NBA owns the Hornets, so its within their power to stop any trade they think isn't in the best interest of the hornets or the league. Heck the Hornets should be trading for picks anyways, not older guys like Martin...

At one year there is no reason to even offer him that much. Since the Kings are a young team we will just be paying to show off his talent to the rest of the league. If it was just for one year I would rather just resign Dalembert to 4, and pick up some amnesty players if we could.

I am no doctor, so I have no clue where he is at medically. If the doctors said there was no way he could contribute at a 35 minutes a game level I would not want him signed, just like you. If the doctors said he looks fine and there is no reason why he couldn't play for 4 years at 35 minutes...

I know I know, huge risk. I was so far against even considering the guy around 2 months ago before the amnesty clause gave everyone tons of cap, but at this point I know we have no chance at signing Nene(12-15 million min), no chance at signing Chandler, and not the best odds of signing...
