I’m more interested in going to Stockton and seeing if Raynaud develops than paying money to go to Golden One Center.

Clearly the Spurs could get by sending out Collins, Jones and Cissoko. The only contract on our books this year would have been Collins.

Not hard you put in a nasty trade kicker and a 3 year offer and Dubs are not matching it. If you want to try for another deal fine. But taking LaVine (losing a lottery first, Huerter, salary cap space) was way worse than a deal with no LaVine. Whether you can get something better by like...

Ultimately you get the first we sent out and cap space in a time no one else had any. Chicago’s pick 12 And whom you sign in free agency. A line up of Schroeder, Monk, Carter Ellis, Clifford/Huerter Murray, Deebo, Essengue Kuminga, Jones, Raynaud Sabonis, Saric, Collins. Looks a whole heck...

Again why are you saying sitting on Vassell. All I said was unwind the Chicago part. I’m not comparing other options. If we could take back Lavine. Keeping Huerter and not LaVine was less expensive. It is the fact we added LaVine at a price he is unmovable that tied our hands.

Right or we just keep Huerter and take Chicago out of the deal. Clearly San Antonio could make it work sending whom they did. The LaVine part was the worst part of that deal

So three players went to Chicago Zach Collins. 18M this year Kevin Huerter. 18M this year Tre Jones. Retired. We got LaVine. 47.4 That to me is an 11M delta that puts us just above the cap and I think we could use the full mid level exception.

Devin problem is right now he has two paths but isn’t really there for either path. He could be a credible 3 and D type player but his lack of length limits him some and he has to make 3’s consistently. Or he could be a primary ball handler but his decision making isn’t great. He is not a...

Had we not traded for LaVine we would have had space to sign one of the restricted free agent forwards to an offer sheet of some sort. Schroder/Monk/ Carter Keon/ DeMar / Nique Keegan/ Essengue or Carter Byant Kuminga /Jones Sabonis/Maxime/Collins

Yes context matters but I think many would argue regardless of context Hali is a more impactful player.

That was pretty much the point of my contact. He said no one knew the Kings were open to trading Haliburton and the Kings could have received a much better offer. Hard to say if that was true or not but I take the word of someone in the business over us message board posters

For the record my acquaintance who was on an NBA front office felt it was a poor trade at the time. He said it was clear Haliburton was going to be very special and he felt Domas was not a winning player. Let’s just say I have heard more than a few told you so’s.

Notice I said almost impossible and I will point out a couple facts….. After two years Haliburton was a known quality and seen as elite. Yes you can trade a Fox or Haliburton level guard. Two, getting a an undersized center who can’t defend the rim was not exactly some stupendous...

For the record I did not criticize Perry because I think his hands are tied this year based on moves by the previous GM. One of the reasons I hated stacking small guards is it is almost impossible to trade small for big. It would be a tad disingenuous to blame Perry for something I said...

No because is a very undersized 2 guard in an era of length. Hell even is father is working to make him a point guard because being able to play point successfully increases his value. He has zero chance of guarding the longer 2 guards in this league. So if you play him at 2 you need a longer...
