I 100% agree! I believe Kuminga and his team are aware of this, which is why they’re hesitant to sign the contract. I still think the Kings have a good chance to land him, but it really depends on how long the Warriors and Kuminga want to drag things out before agreeing to find him another suitor.
I had the same feeling. They basically lose him for nothing if he accepts the QO. That means he is free to join any team next off season as an unrestricted free agent
If true, I honestly think this is a good move for all parties. We haven’t made a trade with the Warriors in years and I hope everyone can see why.
They were never clear on what they wanted and once we were close, they kept on trying to increase the asking price
You cannot trade with greedy...
I would agree that it definitely feels like a Monte off-season. I don’t think it’s a disaster YET.
I feel like it would become a disaster if we upped our offer for Kuminga to an unprotected pick (lowest I’d go is top 4 protected, happy to take a swing if top 8 protected)
Signing Westbrook...
It’s nice to hear a more logical side of things from the Warriors fan base as apposed to their delusional fans that believe they will get Keon and/or Keegan
Too much hate on Carter atm. I wouldn't mind keeping him and seeing him grow. This is basically his rookie year given the fact that he was only able to play 36 games last year. I have a feeling we are going to regret trading Carter for nothing or just as a throw-in...
That's exactly what I'm saying. It kind of feels like we are starting to become desperate. The only reason I can see Perry continuously push is if they truly see Kuminga as "the" guy for the Kings
I believe an S&T is inevitable. To which team? IDK. It all depends which offer the warriors like the most.
It wouldn't make sense for Jonathan Kuminga to go back to warriors on a QO (7.9 million) and it doesn't look like he would be happy going back to the warriors on an extension of around...
