Gilbert Arenas blogs about other peoples business

I hear what he says though. These players are not all that, and they turn down $12,000,000? That's an anomaly.

Jackson finally agrees to two-year extension to coach Lakers

Kobe trusts Jackson. Jackson stays, it's an invitation for Kobe to stay. Fortunately for the Laker front office, they didn't succumb to Kobe's pressure and they kept Andrew Bynum. Andrew scored 20 points, 11 rebounds, 5 blocks, 0 fouls in only 28 minutes of play vs. the Warriors. And he...

    Kobe for T-Mac?

It's not going to happen. That's like having a fire sale.

Marbury didn't know father had died

I agree. It was not their call.

Jackson finally agrees to two-year extension to coach Lakers

This only means one thing. Kobe is going to get some help. The Ariza deal may not exactly what the Lakers need to get over the hump but it was a step in the right direction. Even with the team they have in place, they should still make a lot of noise if they tighten up defensively, and keep...

Lakers-Kings deal after Dec.15(I am not here to insult you)

That trade proposal is one-sided and the Lakers will never approve it. Putting up with Kobe? The Kings would be lucky to have his leadership, the kind of leadership he is displaying this year which has stimulated the team chemistry. Great deal for the Kings... non-sense to the Lakers.

    Sac/NJ/LAL

The Lakers need defense, not offense. They are giving up a lot of defense in that proposal and getting an aging Kidd on his last leg. It doesn't make the Lakers a contender, plus they are taking on a player who is seeking an extension who is clearly over the hill.

Kidd sits out; NYPost says he wants to be traded

I don't necessarily believe it's all crap. While it may not be a strike, it can certainly be read any way you want. I would be unhappy too if I didn't get a $13 million extension. Kid is not the same player he used to be though. Still solid, and still a top PG in the league, but not as he...

Stan Van Gundy on a roll... again

Van Gundy wouldn't have won it for the Heat that year. The team was floundering until Riley turned it around. And it would have been a waste of Shaq's precious time. Now, the Heat are toast. If they make the first round, the will be out in a sweep again.

Lakers-Kings deal after Dec.15(I am not here to insult you)

Kobe demanded a trade out of frustration. And yes, after the loss to the Nets, the Lakers are reeling. I really don't think he was 100% serious about getting traded. He just had to vent, and he ranted to the media. Personally, I thought it was out of poor taste and judgment. At this stage...

    Why Kobe isn't yet traded...

Kobe is not going anywhere. If he is traded before he can opt out, I'll never. I mean, NEVER post here again.

    Why Kobe isn't yet traded...

I'm not really sure Kobe wants to be traded. He had an opportunity to go to the Pistons, but he vetoed the deal. I think he wants to stay in L.A. but so much has been said, and he DID open his mouth when he shouldn't have. Kobe was born to be a Laker and don't be surprised if he retired a...

    Kings vs Spurs Game Thread

Great game by the Kings and I give them nothing but props. Udrih was unbelievable. And Brad Miller somehow remembered at one point, he was an all-star. Props.

    Why Kobe isn't yet traded...

Kobe has the only no-trade clause in the NBA. For a trade to happen, Kobe must veto his no-trade clause. Kobe isn't in a hurry to get out of L.A.
