failure of imagination, hardly. look at geography to tell you all you need to know. Affordability applies to folk like us on this message board correct but that doesn't dismiss the appeal of the city for an NBA player and especially one with a family or incoming one.
New Orleans? eh I don't see it. Living here as long as I have, I see it with my own two eyes how every couple of years, more and more out of towners are moving here and to accommodate the high demand, they are building more real estate and expanding our highways because of the congestion.
despite the weather in the summer months, Phoenix is a very appealing city to potential new NBA players. Lots of action over here, lots to do for every individual depending on what he/she is into.
that is one resilient bunch the Pacers have. 24 turnovers and down 15 in the fourth, looked like they were done for. Hali game winner was the cherry to finish it off
I suppose the term golden applies to someone who's lived in the city for 20+ years and the heat doesn't bother as it would for an individual coming from the east coast. Hence all the snow birds in our peak weather seasons and as soon as June 1st hits, everyone is gone.
if true, Perry and staff are simply avoiding the inevitable. ideally after 30-40 games or so when the Kings are the 12th seed, maybe that will convince Vivek to go another route
the two teams that can stop this potential dynasty from happening are the Wolves and Nuggets, but this all depends on what moves they make this offseason to add help to their star players
