If you are a team like the Kings the only realistic way to get a lengthy wing is through the draft. Other teams don’t let those guys go cheap in trades and we know we aren’t getting quality FAs.
I don’t think you necessarily need a shot blocker in today’s game. You need 6’8 wings to chase shooters off the three point line. We have neither though, just a bunch of combo guards.
Who said he can’t survive in the league? He just won’t be a guy that gets huge minutes consistently. Pat Beverly was a backup, I think Davion could fit that role when the right personnel group for him comes around.
All those things Keon does wins games, like Doug Christie. Davion is an under 6ft guard, sure he can body guards but most guards can shoot over him. He is a good player but he isn’t starter quality.
