If you are a team like the Kings the only realistic way to get a lengthy wing is through the draft. Other teams don’t let those guys go cheap in trades and we know we aren’t getting quality FAs.

I don’t think you necessarily need a shot blocker in today’s game. You need 6’8 wings to chase shooters off the three point line. We have neither though, just a bunch of combo guards.

If we are just trying to be bad I get it. An imbalanced roster will help that. But why we are adding veterans I’m not sure.

Not gonna win unless we get another forward like Keegan.

I don’t understand why we don’t re-sign Lyles. I get he isn’t a defensive wing, but we have so few wing. Should we just let our wings walk?

Who said he can’t survive in the league? He just won’t be a guy that gets huge minutes consistently. Pat Beverly was a backup, I think Davion could fit that role when the right personnel group for him comes around.

Who says he wasn’t tough or commited? He simply lacks the size to play regularly on both ends, especially starters minutes.

All those things Keon does wins games, like Doug Christie. Davion is an under 6ft guard, sure he can body guards but most guards can shoot over him. He is a good player but he isn’t starter quality.

He is undersized and uh no he isn’t a batter defensive guard than Keon. But nice try

Davion isn’t better than enough guards here to get consistent minutes.

Deronzan isn’t a SF either.

If seen him play in summer league. Frankly I expected more from him. But what I worry about most is his shoulder. He seemed bothered by it in SL.

I mean trade value doesn’t really need to be built for these vets. Team already know what they are about.
