    Eurobasket-Belgrade 2005.

maybe this is a wake up call. i got a buddy who was down in belgrade at the time of the competition, and he regularly saw jaric drinkin until the early mornin hours. this wasn't a team. i feel bad for obradovic. he didn't deserve this ****. you can see the players didn't want it. they didn't...

Flip Murray back to Seattle for 05-06...

man i remember flip averaging something like 22 points on 48% shooting when allen went down. for about a month, he was about as dominant as a sg can be. he had decent floor skills too.

Jerry Rice, the greatest WR to ever play retires!

that is just ridicilous to use era's in an argument. the man holds 38 NFL records for god's sake. i mean for anybody who has watched him play the game, i don't care what kind of QB you have jerry rice was a black hole, catching anything within a 5 yard radius. they had steve young i think on...

What do we think of Petrie now?

yea... i'm all for depth but we all know that adelman has a 7 man rotation burned into his head, so unless that changes, this "depth" that is the focus of all conversation and the sole reason we got rid of webb and his contract, won't be of much use. averaging 4 minutes a game does not mean we...

    Michael Finley thread (merged)

finley as pg...? i'm not that sure about that. i know he can handle the ball, he did it on some plays with nash, but i don't know if he would work as a consinstent pg.

    Our Chances......

yea but it's becasue of amare that those shooters are open. amare isn't like shaq, but he is more athletic and faster which often forces defenders to help inside to close out the lane, which leaves the shooters open.

    Doug Christie news (merged)

i don't know about that. he might have good passing abilities, but he doesn't have the quickness he once did, and oposing pg would be smaller and faster then him. he might have trouble guarding pgs, and since he isn't really a scoring threat, teams would be able to shift their attention away...

Brutal Collision at the Mets game

i keep missing it on espn, if anybody finds the link. please post it. its been confirmed that cameron has multiple cheekbone fractures, a broken nose and i've heard reports of a damaged neck but i don't know about that. i also heard beltran walked away from the collision virtually unhurt :|...

SAR coming to the Kings discussion (merged)

the problem with giving up bibby is that you would not get a guard with the same skill level. bibby fits like a glove into our system, and he is one of the biggest warriors in the nba. i'm just afraid giving him up would really screw with our system.

    Sixers Grab Steven Hunter

wow that's just over half a season... not optimistic huh :( i hope he plays at least 65 games. barring a serious setback in his injuries, i think he could play a bunch of games.

Get your NFL predictions in here now!

true, but they do have a high scoring offense. you can't say they don't because they refuse to play defense. they're similar to the colts except without the whole peyton manning/marvin harrison thing. priest can only do so much.

Who Are Your Top 3 Pitchers in the MLB?

clemens has been the best pitcher all season. the guy's ERA is amazing, and if the astros would have realized that there is an offensive aspect to baseball in the first half of the season, he would have a crapload more wins then he has right now.

Cincinnati Bengals.. Who is your team?

hate that kind of attitude in fans. i'm all for looking at the big picture, and god knows as a bears fan i've lived through years and years of futility, but when a fan says that their team should tank this season to get better the next, its like a stake through the heart. football is about heart...
