I think I prefer to just stay on course acquiring young talent and building. If Perry can deliver another good draft with his lottery pick AND the two second picks, the Kings could be in a good spot

The only hope is for Lavine and his agent to find another team who would want him at a negotiated contract that is worth it for him and then he opts out knowing he already has his landing spot set. I think that is a real possibility

With that starting unit, you got 1 guy who can knock the 3 down at a good clip in Lavine…..great tbh…..but then Keegan, when off, adds to the others who are inconsistent and it just looks like the opponents will pack the paint. Doug Christie has to mix it up before the end of the preseason...

As long as Deebo, Lavine and Domas are on the floor, defense will be a struggle. Schroeder will be passable on defense still but if DC follows thru with his words, 3 of Nique, Keon, Carter, Keegan have to be on the floor….passing by with Schroeder as a part of this group. Makes sense on paper...

Really not surprised though. Need to move out the vets or at least some of them….one of them.

Finally got to watch 28 years Later on Netflix. Danny Boyle and Alex Garland put together an interesting film. I’m not sure I loved it but I liked it. Felt it was a reasonable way to push the story forward while still having elements of the original 2 movies.

Christie has to have the cajones to have 2 defensive players on the court at all times….at least. If he rolls with the below avg defensive guys all on the court at the same time…Monk, DDR, Lavine, Domas then all the talk about defense is eyewash.

Nothing like inserting the phrase “tell them to kick rocks”. I would t take input from these vets. Most of these guys won’t be here. As far as team chemistry, if they want Westbrook, I wonder what Devin Carter or Keon are thinking in regards to that…….team chemistry and all

I think the only way to go with this team is to go small similar to OKC at times. A center, 3 wings and a PG. Apply pressure. Only problem is our guys aren’t as good defensively as OKC’s stable of defenders while we have like 3 or 4. This gets Nique onto the floor. Can get DC onto the...

Bochy is available. Yes, he’s old but he won a title with Texas. It’s a fairly veteran team who would respond to him. Plus he is terrific at managing a bullpen.

I’ve got faith in Buster picking a quality guy to get these guys to play to their potential.
