Kings will offer the max that they can legally offer to Monk. If he gets a better offer from elsewhere, he should take it. There is really no other play from the Kings side. No point worrying about things that we can't control.

100%. Strong centers that he can't push around and that don't bite on his shot fakes are the kryponite for Sabonis. The baby hook is something that he can add as a reliable move in his bag. I swear he did more post moves in Indiana.

I was a big proponent of getting Wiggins but his passive mentality and inconsistent effort are things that make me pause. I understand that he has some off court issues but even at this best he was very inconsistent. Not some one you can rely on and definitely not at that price point.

Give credit to the Pelicans. They're the better team. Kings think tank could not come up with any plans even after losing so many games to them. Poor planning and mediocre execution.

I'm doubtful if MB would play Kess but he's the only one other than Keegan who can match up with Ingram. We badly need Keegan on offense and can't afford to have him pick up fouls or expend too much energy on defense.

Damn. That's a big blow to the Pelicans. Zion was balling out. Always hate to see players getting injured. With or without Zion, the Pelicans are a tough team that is well coached. Kings should keep the aggression and focus.
