He is actually only 29. Still pretty old for summer league. How many years has he played? My guess is that he is looking to break through with the Magic. He did have a very successful G League season.

Carter is going to have to shoot better than 2-14 if he wants to stay on the Kings. And not be traded.

A whole lot of guys can tell that to their kids one day.

Either that, or the coach has no clue.

[News] Kings and Schroder agree on three year 45 million dollar contract. S&T into Huerter TPE

I appreciate the cynicism, and agree that so much has been "underwhelming" since draft day. But I have doubts that Doug Christie is going to let anyone coast on the team next year.

Potential Free Agent/Trade/Sign Tracker, '25-'26 Season

He shot 65% from the field last season, best on the team. As for three-point shooting, he hit 37.5%, better than Murray, Lyles, DeRozan, Monk, Fox, and Huerter, in that order. I would not complain about his shooting at all. Isaac Jones is still raw, however. He needs more polish and more...

    Welcome Nique Clifford

Maybe they are unimpressed with Carter's "standing reach" at 8' 2". Currently, he is the second shortest player on the Kings at 6' 2". Only Dennis Schröder is shorter, at 6' 1".

    Summer League

Poor summer leaguers will never know what hit them when Isaac Jones finds the court.

Potential Free Agent/Trade/Sign Tracker, '25-'26 Season

Today's report is that Golden State wants both Carter and Monk in return for Kuminga. Who knows what is real with all this reporting? But that ask borders on delusional, coming from Mike Dunleavy.

Potential Free Agent/Trade/Sign Tracker, '25-'26 Season

The whole league lives in a different world now. You can see how many teams have wrapped up most of their salary cap in two or three top players and are scrounging around just to put together a competitive roster. That includes the Kings.

[News] Kings and Schroder agree on three year 45 million dollar contract. S&T into Huerter TPE

A Pistons podcaster, Ku Khahil, says that "100% a sign and trade between the Pistons and the Kings will be happening." There are two scenarios: 1) Monk goes the Pistons 2) the Pistons receive "a $14 million TPE, which is a trade exception, that they could either use immediately or they could...

Keegan could, but that would require another leap on his part, as I suggested in a different thread.
