Will Scott promoted to new Stockton Kings head coach

As we have seen the past two years, this is an important job, perhaps moreso than player development coach with the big club.

[News] Scott Perry is the new GM of Sacramento Kings

One of the folks Mr. Perry brought in was Dario Šarić, from Croatia. No one seems to think he can contribute more than did Trey Lyles. Here is what he says about the situation: “I went to Sacramento, passed medicals, talked to the coach and general manager. I received positive feedback. I...

[Trade] Why the Warriors Could Trade for 6x NBA All-Star: Report

The Warriors appear to be budging a bit on their contract offer to Kuminga. https://sports.yahoo.com/article/jonathan-kuminga-warriors-reportedly-renewed-171752210.html

Forget Good, Can the Kings Be Fun to Watch Next Season?

With a new coach and coaching staff, it's really hard to say. It's certainly possible that the Kings win some unexpected games, and have fun doing it, just as they did last season. Clobbering the Celtics in Boston, for instance.

An old friend of mine recommends Charles Dickens, David Copperfield. It was a favorite of mine in high school.

[Trade] Warriors have obvious Jonathan Kuminga trade demand after latest Kings reports

This would bring in a player that the Warriors want, Giddey, instead of Monk, whom they reportedly do not want. It would not require trading Moses Moody. But once again, it's all speculation, like the supposed "trade" of Monk for Rui Hachimura. There would still be the objection of sending...

[Trade] Warriors have obvious Jonathan Kuminga trade demand after latest Kings reports

Kumingna has already been "on ice" for four years. He does not want to accept even one more year. He wants control of his future.

    Welcome Daeqwon Plowden

It was fun watching this guy play in Las Vegas. And he is highly athletic. Very good move.

[Trade] Warriors have obvious Jonathan Kuminga trade demand after latest Kings reports

By the way, Josh Giddey and the Chicago Bulls are $8-10 million per year apart on contract negotiations. Giddey is also a restricted free agent diving head-first into the cold waters of the new CBA. The difference from the Warriors is that Chicago really wants to keep him around.

[Trade] Warriors have obvious Jonathan Kuminga trade demand after latest Kings reports

No kidding. But I am going to add another: https://basketball.realgm.com/wiretap/281531/Warriors-Offer-Jonathan-Kuminga-Two-Year-$40-Million-Contract Kuminga reportedly wants $30 million per year. The Warriors want a first-round draft pick, but the Suns do not have one. The Kings have a...

Potential Free Agent/Trade/Sign Tracker, '25-'26 Season

That would be the truth. I keep hearing that management would rather have someone else (insert name here) rather than Monk as backup point guard. They seem to be lacking in emotional intelligence, considering that he has been the "heart of the team" since his arrival. Monk also tied Sabonis...
