I thought the bench unit in the fourth quarter was a lot of fun to watch: fast, cohesive, effort on both ends of the court, passing the ball freely.

Eubanks played so well, I wonder if a lineup of Sabonis-Eubanks-Murray-LaVine-Schröder might be worth trying? It would certainly help to move Keegan back to the three spot. Too early to panic, but last night was unsettling.

Why did the starters look so out of sorts? Sabonis, in particular, looked frantic at times, and that is not his personality.

I was surprised that Schröder and Monk shared the court for several minutes. That does not strike me as a felicitous pairing, and it did not go well. I was expecting more a lineup of Monk, Ellis, Clifford, IJ, Eubanks: two older vets and three younger players, including one rookie.

I am having trouble picking out the patterns on both ends for the Kings, but it looks to me like they are double-teaming or trapping too much, leaving a man open at the three-point line on most possessions. Anyone else see what is going on?
