Slightly ugly, but a solid win. The defense was mostly pretty good throughout the game. Valenciunas is such a great addition.
Felt like a good team begrudgingly showing up to inferior competition but doing what needed to be done to keep a lead throughout the game before winning. Can’t all be blowouts

were a long way from proving we’re actually a good team but tonight was good enough. On to the next one

Thoughts on starting Keon with Malik the 6th man? Would bring much needed balance to the starting lineup. With Lavine, DDR, and Domas, ball handling would be covered along with initiating the offense. Malik can still close games due to his ball-handling.

I share the observation. We flexed when it mattered. Lavine, missing threes, but I do think his impact on the game is being underrated. He's such and explosive player. And he's savvy. He got to the line when it was important. A star for sure, but not a selfish one. Rare player.

That's how you defense Zion, by taking charges. He's a bulldozer and only know how to play one way which is out of control drive directly at the basket. If you can anticipate his move, you can always take charges. The problem is Kings don't have many players that want to take charge or smart enough to anticipate. Trey Lyle finally did it in this game. That's how to stop his attack...he's an out of control train wreck. I don't think it's that hard to defend him....you just need to anticipate and take charges.
