Look man, we're not the Mavs here. If fatties help get us to the 2nd round of the playoffs, I'm all for it. And if you're going to put up 12 PPG in 20 minutes on 60.2% TS... eat all the cheeseburgers you want my guy
A little size at Center ain't a bad thing. He balled when we played them.

The Kings reuniting the Murray twins on top of bringing in JVal and Deebo’s BFF on top of having Malik would make them the ultimate vibes team lol
Portland hasn't really utilized him much but he got a chance to strike out on his own for a year and change and I bet that a reunion would be great for both and the entire family.

Call me a hater but if you thought Len looked slow and immobile on defense, just watch Valanciunus ... As I've said I don't think a post up big guy is what the Kings need off the bench, considering their offense runs through DeRozan when bench is in. Pretty much the whole team thrives in a running style too, so how Valanciunus fits at a higher pace is extremely questionable. Kings don't need more scoring; they literally have (4) 20 point scorers already. We'll see how it all fits

Len didn’t necessarily look old and slow. He just looked very bad at NBA basketball.

That's true and part of that goes into not being in prime shape. He wasn't playing for anything this season but in the offseason expect him to get back into shape. What this allows is someone to hopefully get Domas back to that 36 mpg range. Christie was obviously looking for a big that can run offense and post up so this should fill that need effectively.

Yeah, it wasn’t the old and slow that was the problem but the part where he his hands have gotten so bad that instead of rebounding the ball he just resorts to tipping it toward midcourt regardless of who’s over there and his teammates are afraid of passing him the ball because therems a 75% chance he fumbles it into a turnover.

PG: Monk/Carter
SG: LaVine/Keon
SF: DeMar/McBuckets
PF: Murray/Lyles
C: Domas/Valanciunas

If they can upgrade backup SF I can see it, but that looks pretty complete already. If Doug can coach up the defense they're set.
No on McBuckets. As much as I want him to work, it's over.

Colby, IC, IJ. See who takes that spot and runs with it.

Yeah the issue is that we were running Domas to death and also like we saw in Minny the other night his opponent usually gets a friendlier whistle further compounding things. 32-36 mpg vs 36-40 will preserve a key player's eligibility late in the contest.

I really didn't get vibes that this was happening. I'm glad I was wrong. Feeling very excited.
There was a lot of buzz about a Nurk/Jonas swap going on, which would totally make sense for the Suns especially financially, but I just doubt they had the draft capital to make it happen. We allowed the Wiz to get out from under salary, and still get two picks and a prospect.

Even without him the Kings have a solid 9 man rotation. If Monte can get in on a buyout player, great, if not, the "wing" replacing McDermott is looking pretty on the bench at this point anyway or at most getting those scrap filled minutes of Huerter/Doug.
