makes me come back to this question yet again. if our defense sucks anyways why not give more shots to McDemott?

3pt shooting on this team is atrocious. shots will not start to fall eventually... they have not fallen all year. nothing is going to change that when you have mentally soft players who can't get out of their own heads about their 3pt shooting. jeez.

Kings took 18 more shots than Memphis. No real FT gap. They still managed to lose.

Kings can’t shoot. That’s why they lost.

Getting real tired of Huerter and Keegan not putting the ball in the basket from three. And so is the Kings season. It pretty much comes down to those two laying brick after brick. As somebody mentioned earlier. The Kings season would be way different if these two could make a damn shot.

They are both getting the best looks of their career too. In case people think the presence of DeRozan is cramping their style.

These two have nothing but open shots especially compared to last season and they just aren’t getting the job done

Yeah, the next thing to figure out is how they can get Fox, Domas, DDR, and Monk going at the same time. In time I think it is going to be a thing where you can stagger them and run that Domas/Monk pick and roll as your offense with DDR and Fox off the floor. I'm not sure pushing Fox back to more off the ball is going to end up better than it has since day 1 when Vlade signed vet PG's and pushed him out of position.

Strange game. We absolutely bodied Ja, which you'd think would lead to an easy win here, but couldn't contain their bench at all. Just worked us over.

And while we finally only allowed 34% from 3... we still were -5 3PM and shot 22% ourselves. It's just so difficult to play well enough to overcome that game in and game out.

1-20 from 3 for Fox/Keegan/Huerter is unacceptable. Shocking this game remained close.

Kings have gotta start hitting shots eventually.
I have a hard time endorsing this strategy when the Kings go 1 for 13 from three in a single quarter like they did in the 3rd tonight. That 8-0 run to finish the third which made this a game again was all 2pt shots and free throws. Giving away 12 possessions in a quarter is just self-inflicted punishment. I wish they would pull themselves out of these 3pt shooting death spirals sooner by trying something else. Anything else.

You have any numbers to back that up or are we just talking anecdotally here?

Huh? Fox took 23 shots. I wouldn't call that "moving him off ball"
