Best win of the season

It was needed. Vs one of the hottest teams that is a tough stylistic matchup.

Also, they responding very well to a physical game with their most balanced team performance of the season.

Nice to see Keegan and Huerter put together good games, and on the same night.

Monk 12 assists 0 turnovers. Offensively the returns are very good from moving him to the starting lineup.

Isaac Jones is awesome. Gets better on both ends every game. Gets after every shot and always in the middle of the action. Can cover a lot of ground and he’s been the first true rim runner the Kings have had since getting Domas. Also, the most athletic forward seeing regular minutes since Metu. As odd as it sounds, the Kings never adequately replaced Metu

Let’s hope they can keep it going

"We Gettin' Arab Money" Cup update:

Six teams went into the final day of pool play 0-3, two of the 0-3 teams played each other (Pacers and Raptors), meaning that there was guaranteed to be at least one team to get their first win.

There ended up being two: Toronto and Sacramento. Charlotte, Indiana, Washington and Utah all finished pool play winless.

Nobody got the poll question right.

don’t know how I feel about it but that series of plays against Spurs he had was muy terrible
He knows what he did wrong and isn't likely to do it again. They don't need to ruin any confidence he had going, by removing him from the rotation.

Would be stupid to do that to a valuable defender and shooter like him. The guy just hit 9 threes in a game a while back, when nobody else could shoot

The game turned in the Kings' favor because Fox and Malik especially decided to tough it out and go over every single screen. This resulted in a ton of fouls against Houston because of their illegal screens and at that point the Kings had them exactly where they wanted them.
I was really surprised that the referees called all those offensive fouls. Mike Brown, in his pregame comments, talked about how teams like the Knicks establish a physical "style" of play early in the season; the referees then just put the physical play down to the way that team operates and they get away with a lot of slapping, pushing, and illegal screens.

yeh I think it was 20 percent punishment and 80 percent circumstance. Huerter had it going and Keegan was playing well so the minutes dried up tonight.

Well, that was fun. Let’s hope this is a turning point but will take a nice little streak to get me totally believing. I LOVE Malik in the starting lineup. Not necessarily because he is a starter but because brown is now actually playing him big minutes. If we can get good shooting from Huerter off the bench this is definitely the way to move foreword. That starting 5 is crazy good offensively if we can get things gelling.
