What a half... I thought there wouldn't be so many fouls called like the 2nd half of last season.
It's good that we go to the line so often on one hand but getting our starters charged with fouls is bad cause this season our bench somehow is underperforming.

I had no idea when we got DDR that we were gonna lose Fox and Lyles as well as Barnes. Fox looks like a rookie that isn’t sure where to be on the floor and gets excited when he does get the ball and makes mistakes.

Most likely the whistles get swallowed in the 2nd half. Now to see what Fox does. I wonder if he's also trying to augment his own game? One telling moment was that pick and roll where Grant blocked him. Fox hesitated and was looking to pass back to Domas. Normally that's one shot straight to the rim. Maybe Fox is trying to be a 10 apg player after all? Probably not a great idea if he's wanting a real max max if history is any indication.

He's back to conceding and playing off the ball. Could be the fingers, could be him wanting to be more of a PG. I guess we'll see.

Could be better for the team going forward, if he isn't over paid

-Perfect half to demonstrate how valuable DDR can be. This game would have gotten out of hand for us last season and him just being the collected scorer, get to the FT line, hit buckets when we need them. Fox and Monk need to join the party here, but we have this lead because of DDR.

-Excellent first half from huerter. He's vastly improved on defense so far through 3 games and is really playing passing lanes well. Had that super hot start where 10 of the first 13 points were his passing and 3's.

-Excellent first half from Keon. Had a really nice drive and kick to a wide open Keegan that he missed. Hit an open C&S three in the corner and the 2nd one went 95% into the rim and bounced out. Saw his usual great activity on defense, although Scoot did get him a couple times.

-Rough offensive first half from Keegan, but he contributes so much on defense, that he's still incredibly impactful, even if his shot is off.

It looks like a new play design. He runs to the corner and gets a full head of steam off a DHO action from Domas so he can get downhill. That seems to be where we're concentrating his USG, instead of him ATB and bringing the ball up. Most of that half was either DDR/Huerter/Monk bringing up the rock.

Despise some individual player difficulties overall this was a much better showing in terms of the team clicking. Can’t wait for the second half.

I didn’t expect DDR to come in and be the best player on the team at 34. Sabonis is still up there but we are again getting the invisible games from Keegan and Fox does not look close to a guy that is set to get the largest nba contract in history. He looks mid
