Godwin down with an injury as well?

Is like the entire league looking to get injured before we even hit the midway point of the regular season???? Holy H-E-Double Hockey Sticks!!!

SInce 2017, the 49ers have drafted 3 players for our o-line, Puni, Banks, and McGlinchy.

O-line has been a problem since shanny got here and fans online have been pleading for the FO to seriously address the O-line. Just hasn't been a high priority........

LOL that’s not even remotely true. The Niners have drafted nine o-line men since 2017 which still isn’t a lot but is still more than three.

well then Larry Kreuger is a damn liar!

He's said it on 2 different shows now.
This one's easy to fact check...

49ers Draft History

I also count 9 offensive lineman drafted by the Shanahan/Lynch front office though only Aaron Banks and Mike McGlinchey were taken in the first or second round and several of these guys were early roster cuts (like Jarrett Kingston from this year's draft).

Also notable is the lack of draft capitol invested in the defensive line after the Javon Kinlaw disaster of a pick in 2020. That 2022 draft year was particularly awful (with the exception of Brock Purdy of course).

I wanna hear some opinions for Kyle Shannahans vanilla gameplan yesterday. That was his gameplan after 10 days off?
Their offensive line got pretty whooped, and that's their problem of late - now they need their new wide receivers to step up, but this is a lost season with too many injuries I think now. For the Chiefs game Guerendo should've gotten the bulk of carries with Mason clearly injured. Good to see Mustapha show up big as a silver lining in all the mess - but he needed to level Mahomes on that sneak, and he pulled up. As was mentioned - Mahomes takes very LARGE advantage of sneaks - defenders are way too soft on him. Last year the 49ers avoided injuries, but this year if they drop 3 below .500 I'd start looking at their depth players to see if any have more promise and tanking for a higher draft pick.

Naaaa, you'll get that "we are embarrassed" tweet from Jed, not his dad. Dad is there to set his son straight.

What that is is anyone's guess. Maybe "lose to the cowboys and things are gonna get real around here." Who knows......

I just heard a wild stat this morning while watching ESPN for a few minutes: The San Francisco 49ers, under Kyle Shanahan, are 0-40 when trailing by 8+ points in the 4th quarter.

Just more ammo for ending kyles reign after this season.

If you can't beat the big dog standing in your way (0-5) then whats the point? Mike Shannahan isn't kyle's dad. Andy Reid is.
Its time to bring in someone else who may have the answer to the juggernaut that is the Chiefs. IMO, there is no way jed fires his bud kyle, but papa york will!

Nah I'm good with not going back to the Chip Kelly/Tomsula years.

Agreed. Kyle has his faults. Dude is the current version of what Andy Reid used to be. He’ll win after we part ways.

But for now I’ll take the very good (flawed) coach over the next Nathaniel Hackett or Chip Kelley.

Really the only available coach I would have switched for was Harbaugh again, who had the same MO of choking the big ones until Michigan last year.
