When we trade for Kuz and he performs y’all owe him an apology

I was initially low on Domas and within 2 minutes of seeing him and Fox together I was apologizing left and right.

Kuz can prove me wrong and I will be happy if he does but until then I am not ready to trade away significant future assets as well as potentially two starters for one player I am not sold on.

Yeah I think my main issue with this is that it’s an intensely short term fix for a long term problem for them (Point guard when 40 year old Mike Conley isn’t on the floor anymore)

the pick was a ‘24. Raps already have three of those and the draft is not great Im sure they want a future first to flip in a future deal

I wouldn’t be happy. He is worth a first to a team that has extra but we don’t. Good player but because that pick would be protected it would limit the moves we could make moving forward.

Yeah, Brown on the Kings would be awesome but when it comes to Brown factors complicate things. Number 1, while he's on a short contract it basically gives the team getting him no choice but to pick up that overpriced option next season even if he doesn't look like a difference maker. Add to it that a team trading for him has to move some decent salary. The Kings would have to subtract to add him. Maybe if Davion/Huerter got it done but adding a pick is too much value for Brown. Huerter/Davion is only about right because of how poorly Huerter and Davion have played. Brown is a role player.

If I’m Toronto I would rather take a 5 second rounder package if there are some good ones in there instead. I think Windy said we should expect a few deals for 5-6 second rounders.

Delon wright has still got it. Watched the whole wizards Cavs game. He didn’t play a ton but was the best point guard on the wiz. Would be a great addition if the price is right
