2023 NBA Draft Omega Thread

Hopefully not, because Kuz is coming here!

But man, I think you roll with:

Poole
Davis
Kispert
Deni
Gafford
Pick 8, 35,42

And just see what can develop from that. Go actively try and trade Monte, Tyus, Delon Wright and really just bottom this thing out. Keep the cap sheet as clean as you can, buy bad contracts for assets.
We're usually on the same page but I don't see what you're seeing here at all lol. That looks like a welcome to basketball hell roster to me.

That's the point (of this year at least). Be so bad this season that you're guaranteed a top pick (even though the next draft isn't very good). And then tank again the year after that for Cooper Flagg.

Oh we are on the same page. Not saying it's good lol, I'm saying they should just roll with those young guys, suck really hard and see if any of them are worth continuing to hold on to.

Guys like Tyus/Monte/Delon Wright are good vet basketball players that help you win games. They should be avoiding that next year. Or at least if you do win games, it's on the backs of guys like Davis/Deni/Pick #8/Poole

I love how quiet Monte and his team are lol all we need is a random, poetic quote about Birds and trees and he’s pretty much Geoff Petrie
We've come a long way from our GM accidentally revealing his draft board during a photo op after signing Gabe Vincent to a Stockton Kings contract

Not that we were ever told. (Keep in mind that there were still COVID protocols in place for his year of the draft process).
I’m think I recall he said something on draft night about being surprised the kings picked him because he didn’t work out with them, or something to that effect?
