Kings Playoff Standings Watch!!!

I think this streak of no playoff appearances is a wrap. Of the next 3 teams behind us in the west, I don't believe that Dallas can make up a 4 game deficit to us within 22 games. That would mean guaranteed top 6 seed. Playoffs here we come! They will watch us on TV in late April and they will like it!
22 games is alot of games, see how it goes the next 4 games.. Following that, the Knicks, Suns, and Bucks are a particularly difficult stretch - will be hard-pressed to win one game against those 3..

Aside from Trailblazers pummeling the Rockets, the Nuggets look energized against Clips and hopefully follow through....about good a day as you could've expected for Kings. No doubt there'll be the opposite one of these upcoming days (every team wins but the Kings)

The funny thing though, is that these rankings fluctuate a lot at this point in the season because there are so few games left. Each game impacts SOS so much. As an example, we were 16th before we played the back to back with Houston and then zoomed to 2nd after those two games. We were third before playing the Clips, and 6th afterward. So there is a lot of change.
Yeah it gets silly. Also good teams play bad, they load manage, they may prioritize one game over another, etc. Bad teams sometimes have a bunch of guys looking for their next contract taking their one moment to shine. Just handle your business.

No reason to worry about the Blazers. Beating the Rockets probably hurts them long term if it costs them in the draft somehow.

There are 2 later games in the Kings schedule vs Blazers. Perhaps the Blazers will have fallen out of Playoff contention, but I think they may be a bubble team for the Play-ins, which will make those games difficult. Kings have been fortunate of late with the Blazers and Thunder missing key players. They are taking advantage as they should.

Kings play another one of those back to back things in mid March here. Blazers will never quit if Dame plays. They're just who they are. I don't think they are anything to worry about. Nurk has become unplayable and they shipped Hart out. Simons likely done for a while. If we can't beat them this late in the season it's a problem.

Malone using his challenge here instead of just letting notoriously terrible free throw shooter Mason Plumlee just take the free throws shows that he's intentionally tanking this game to **** over the Kings.

Kawhi almost singlehandedly ended the Nuggets night. Instead MPJ hits a three to give the Nuggets a two point lead with 27 seconds left. If you haven't been watching, tune in now.
