(preseason) basketball is back as the Kings host NBA Finals losers, the Phoenix Suns, in a preseason battle at G1C

Game streaming on Kings.com within 75 miles of Golden One. No clue on starting lineups Or how many minutes the rotation guys’ll get but basketball’s back baby!

For all of the crazy rules around local broadcasts, etc., can someone explain to me the logic that restricts streaming of a preseason game on the team's website to only 75 mile radius of Golden One? I'm sure there must be some deep legal thinking on that, but makes no sense.

I think for the Kings in Particular, they’ve got a limited market range because the Warriors are literally only two hour away (on a good traffic day)

yeah but why is it the opposite of the regular blackout rules?

I'm not 100% sure on the logic of this, but they've been doing it for several years for non-broadcast preseason games. Because it's not on the RSN, it's not quite analogous to regular blackout rules. But why it isn't just an open stream is not clear to me.

I think something to expect is a really aggressive Kings team on defense.

This should be the bare minimum expectation, win or loss
Yes, I think we should understand early if summer league is indicative of a culture change or just happened to have the right set of guys with a coach (Bobby Jackson) that was the driving force.

Well it’s no longer on the list. It was yesterday when I checked it. I guess it was being planned until kings did the stream so now everybody is blacked out. Do they not want fans outside of the state or even the county?
hopefully it’s just an error. If not it will be the only game out of 9 that is not televised on either league pass or nba TV
