Kings / Suns Game Thread

What's most frustrating is to watch Bagley be a total afterthought offensively. C'mon, run something easy so he can get involved here. It's like they have no idea how to use him.
They're just leaving him at the top of the three pt arc to space the floor and not getting it to him. He can't rebound from there. Can't post up. ...

I’m only on page 4 and not watching the game but it sounds like Jeorger is still bull craptin with the offense. Get Blatt in here by February if we’re not running a modern day offense

It's actually ok, if Bagley realizes that his Defensive effort is more important. If he gives his all on defense, satisfactory. Let other players pick up the offense.

It could help in the long run but he wasn't drafted number 2 because of his defensive role player tendencies.

Bagley should play at the 5 to take advantage of his height and speed. He looks more comfortable right now. It also puts him in offensive rebounding position, which is a strength of his. He created two extra possessions in a previous play.

This goes for all Kings: Their bigs are doing multi-move spots to attack in the lane against multiple defenders. I don't think this works well in the modern game. I've seen Willie and Bagley both do this. One or two moves, score. That's it. Quick entry and quick attack before help gets there.

I mean this is all Ayton is literally doing tonight. Don't think I've seen him go ISO in the post once all night.

Suns are putting him in good spots, we aren't.
Ayton is going to be the better version of Cousins. He's freaking dominant out there. If he catches the ball under the rim, he'll just use his strength and put it up... something we haven't seen from any of our bigs this game.

I'll say this for Kings fans:

With Booker out, De'Aaron Fox has clearly been the best player out there tonight and all the Kings troubles come from when he's not out there.

And Dragan Bender would be traded if anyone wanted him. Yikes.

Pat McCaw anyone???
Why not play Weyen at the very least??

In fairness to him he's taken like 3 shots. He does look a bit out of it on offense with his spacing and movement. On that 2 on 1 with Buddy he ran right to the defender which caused that turnover. He's got to find his place.
