My guess is they think they saw Westbrook intentionally throw some fingers in his face.

I have no problem with the refs getting tight on this crap. These NBA players know exactly where their body is and their defender's body is at all times. There is virtually no accidental facial contact. Incidental, maybe. Not accidental. There is no place in the game for eye pokes, elbow/forarms to the face. At all.
Hasn't the rule pretty much been "you touch face, it's a tech or flagrant" for a few seasons now?

What has Bogdan done to deserve minutes over Hield? How is he not back in... I know we're up by 10pts, but there's no reason why he should be iced right now.

I think you're right.

They probably had a meeting in the offseason to really clean that up. Enforce the rule.

Pro sports are really trying to clean up public image these days. With the downfall of the NFL (and it will go much, much farther down), there is going to be market opportunity. You could see baseball pushing the clean cut image as well during the series...

In five years baseball will be sport #1, NBA #2, and NFL #3, maybe, Hockey or MLS could overtake.

Good to see Melo still living up to my expectations. I can actually cringe when I admit I favored him over LBJ back in the day.

The Thunder would be better off if Carmelo and George got tossed somehow between quarters. Russ pretty clearly isn't the same as he's trying to play good teammate to George and the black hole that is Carmelo.

Instead of retaliating Skal should have completely sold the intial push by Melo, catching the refs attention and T'ing him up instead. That's how a veteran retaliates :)
I agree. He'll learn. With his slight build, he could do a great job of selling that stuff. :p

Skal is having a DREADFUL stint. I do not like that when he gets the ball he has to hold it for like 5-7 seconds before he makes a move. Needs to be way more decisive.

Skal just has no idea how to play within an offensive. All the offensive talent in the world but -3948439834983498 IQ... and it's so horrendous it takes away from all his other talent.

WTF. Westbrook hits another King in the face? Why do I get the feeling if KK gets back into the game he's going straight after him?
