The best player should be held to a higher standard than the 4th option. He does make a lot of mistakes despite his production by his decisions. He probably could have 5-8 more points and save his team a few more possessions of he made better decisions.
The risk vs reward ratio of trying to reach over like that is very low.. it would be better if he just got his body in position and feet ready to move instead of reaching over someones shoulder like that to try and deny the ball
