The fact that fans are hesitant about Rondo is understandable and quite honestly to be expected. After what happened in Dallas, it's easy to forget that Rondo at one point was widely considered one of, if not the best, point guards in the league. Yes, he did play in a system where he was fortunate to be surrounded by future hall of famers in Boston, but he played at a high level while those guys played at a high level doing it. Even at the time he was traded not too long ago, it was considered a steal for the Mavericks and the consensus around the league was that Boston could have gotten a lot more in exchange for Rondo. The "Boston buddy network" allowed Rondo to play for a contender while bringing in only an aging Jameer Nelson, Jae Crowder, and Brandon Wright. Regardless of what the risk may be, Kings fans have to be excited about the fact that if Rajon can play anywhere near the level of what we've seen from him in the past, this team can be dangerous. His ability to LEAD a team is something among other traits of which the Kings have not seen since the glory days. His exquisite passing, championship pedigree experience, he's practically a triple double threat every night when healthy.
