All Star game - watching Boogie

I hope this is OK here. Seems like most announcers think Curry will be MVP but a few have mentioned Boogie. Boogie's huge challenge is getting minutes but if he gets decent minutes, he will be on the court where he will not be double and triple teamed. If he was selfish and took the rebound and went coast to coast, he'd be hard to stop.

But, Boogie is not selfish. Too bad they don't give credit for that as All Star game MVPs tend to be the highest scorer. Anyway, have fun Boogie and please, please don't get hurt.

I'd love nothing more than for him to get the MVP but I don't see that happening so I'll just watch when he is in the game...when he is out I will gladly turn the channel. Not a big fan of the All-star game at all...rather enjoy College Basketball :D.

I don't like All Star games either. I'd like to see some defense and these guys seem allergic to defense.

Figured I would post this here.

Excited to watch @boogiecousins shine bright tonight in the @NBA All-Star game. @SacramentoKings #SacramentoProud

Nice to see he is enthusiastic about Cousins already and is making his support known.
I can't believe anyone would be worried that these two might not get along. Boogie will follow a coach because he's the coach. You have to suck badly for Boogie not to follow you. It doesn't hurt that both George and Boogie have sent good messages back and forth.

Not sure if you can't watch for other reasons, but TNT has a live feed (hey, legit, legal feeds are becoming more numerous!)

http://www.nba.com/tntovertime/
Yup. Overtime has been a legit legal option for TNT games for about five years, now. The available camera angles are different from how most US consumers are used to watching basketball games on TV, though, and you don't get any of the pregame, halftime or post-game.

Minutes for Boogie? Any guesses?

I'm thinking pretty low. 12-15 mins total.

I'd like to be wrong.
I'm thinking a little higher, if the coach does indeed want to win. I say he earns the mitutes with strong defense, and of course some unstoppable post play.

25-30 with an shot at MVP if the guards don't try to showboat too much and actually feed him the ball.

And that's the problem.

Not a lot of post play so far.

Yeah I kind of quickly changed my opinion as soon as I saw the play and remembered how these games go.

Funny thing is though, with the game SO spread out like this... Cousins just has a field day in the post if they toss it anywhere near him. He'd be essentially unstoppable.

After Marc Gasol went coast to coast and dunked the ball, Webber gets his Kings cred revoked for agreeing with Reggie's list of only 3 centers who have a great handle with the basketball: both Gasol brothers and Noah.

Anyone notice the obvious omission?
When mentioning centers who have the handle to go coast to coast, wouldn't the poster boy for doing so (DMC) be a glaring omission?
Especially when he's going to be on the court soon?
It's not like he's persona non grata and can;t be discussed because he was omitted (though they tried to again this year, injuries not cooperating).
