LaVine is having a nice showing, I'm not trying to dismiss him or anything, they're just different types of players. He's been dominating the ball for his team and leading them in scoring. He's a high ceiling elite athlete who's still learning how to fit his talents into a team game. He's a bit like Ben McLemore in that regard. Stauskas is showing us right now how he can impact a game without even taking a lot of shots. He's dished off 5 assists, all of the quick-hit variety by moving without the ball and making smart passes to open cutters. And he's making threes at an elite rate. That's what we drafted him to do. We don't really need another high-ceiling athlete as much as we need a floor spacer who can move the ball without making a lot of mistakes.
