I know people are going to jump down my throat on this one, but we may need another trade to complete this team. Dont know really who to trade and who to pick up, but we need someone who's scoring is decent and who's defense and rebounding is awesome. IMO .
 
Ok now I can't keep up with all these similar threads. For the 1000000000000th time. There is no Better GM in basketball than Geoff Petrie. Read my signature... and believe.

Then he should work some more of his magic soon so the Kings can regain their throne.
 
hey if we can pull out pollard for miller than there is no limit to where it will take us.

No, because we like always have horrible defense. Thats not going to change with the players we have now. It hasnt for the last few years. We know the Kings can score, but when it comes to defense we stink.

hmmm so Petrie is an idiot right because he built all these teams that have lost. By the way 2 years ago we lead the league in defensive FG% and 3ptfg% so it hasn't been always.

People need to take a deep breath and relax.
 
So, you think a single trade will change the PHILOSOPHY of this team? Change the athleticism factor etc? Hmm, interesting, must be quite the blockbuster. 5 team deal bringing Garnett, Bryant, James etc here for pocket change?

Dont really care about the past teams. The only thing I care about is the way the Kings are playing or lack there of(when it comes to defense), they will not be champions. Spurs and Sonics are too strong. IMO. Suns Im not worried about, Im just waiting for them to crash and burn. BUT the other two are a force.

1 player can make a GREAT DIFFERENCE. dont believe me? ask the suns and steve nash.
 
Yeah, let's do a trade. I'm thinking we should get rid of Webber, Mobley and Peja. We are 1/1 with all three of them out, so obviously we are better without them! (HEAVY sarcasm here)


..... SIGH......


Just ONCE I would like us to lose a game without a trade thread popping up!!! No NBA team is undefeated, and you don't see them trading players on a nightly basis every time they have a loss.

My bad I thought they had won years ago. And I never said throw everyone out. I said they need one more trade.

No, but this is actually a larger issue that's been going on for some time. That IS wwithout question our great weakness and everyone knows it. It is also, unfortunately a weakness that no NBA champion that I am aware of has ever had. You just don't win NBA titles if you can't board and you can't stop people. The only real question is "can this crew"? No real evidence that the answer is yed unfortunately.
 
Changing 2/5 of our starting lineup in one season could certainly change the team and possibly its success. Once again the Kings have very tradable pieces.
