The real issue: Bad calls or not????

Should we have to rely on the officials calls??? Since when have the Kings had to rely on the refs whistle? I think the problem starts there.

Regaurdless of whether we have to RELY on the calls, it's the fact that a game is 48 minutes, you as a referee are paid to make the right call regaurdless of who the team is and how much they should or should not be winning by... You're right, it shouldn't come down to that, but just because it is doesn't mean the Kings should get penalized...

Well, to a certain degree, we do depend on good officiating, as does every other team.

I know but in crunch time you have never been able to rely on the refs whistle. Usually for the Kings its a non-call, but lately its the wrong call. Still though the real PROBLEM lies elsewhere.

Look as much talk there has been about not personally attacking the players (to which I totally agree) if you do not agree with a certain topic SIMPLY DO NOT POST IN IT!!!!

You NEVER rely on the officials. Look at the stats for the Kings. The Bulls had 11 more rebounds than the Kings. There's hardly any defense. The Bulls aren't a team that scores 107. The Bulls did anything they wanted to on offense.

Blaming the officials is a weak excuse!

Yes, the Kings do have issues, as do all teams, they shouldn't have to overcome them AND the officials at the same time.

I think we should be pulling away and finishing some of these games against these Eastern Conf. teams. but they are not. The officals should not decide the game. The team has to get better and finish. All the while Peja is on his cell with his agent. I've decided , its time for him to go. We need someone before the deadline.

How the Kings played is irrelevant. Both teams made mistakes throughout the game. I mean, Chicago had 19 TO. Why should the Kings be penalized for their bad play when Chicago gets rewarded?

It sure feels like we get the raw end of the deal more often than other teams.... but statistically maybe it just shows up more often because lately we're involved in way more close games.

Either way, and as I stated in the other thread--the Kings need to go into games spotting the other team 15 points: 10 points just because we play lazy ball much of the game and five points because the refs will give that to the other team at the end. :)

Adelman should call out this score to the Kings throughout the game and they should ignore the real one.

At this point it's worth a try I think!

I'm pretty sure if we focus on the reffing, this team will not figure out how to solve it's other problems. Focus on the stuff we CAN fix like defense and rebounding and let the media and fans keep the pressure on the NBA.

Just my $0.02.

WOW

not good when he plays, not good when he does not

Blaming a player for the loss who did not even play is very refreshing

It's really amazing how they still outrebounded us by 10 boards. They're missing their best rebounder in Tyson Chandler. And how did we allow Curry to get 12 boards? this guy average 5.5 for the season.

They are just simply quicker and Deng ate up 9 from the 3 spot!

yeah if it was in the middle of the 2nd quarter we would think nothing of it. But being as how these calls have come in the final minute of games in whice the score is withing 2 pts. It hurts like a *****. I personally think its all coencidence. I don't believe the offcials are purposly out to get us. But they do need to try harder at the end of games. If it continues i look to see a seson long suspension out of Mobley, Miller or Adleman because one of them is going to hit a ref.

People are going to say what they want where they want. Provided they do so in accordance with the rules of this board it is not up to you to tell them what they can or cannot say. That's why we have moderators and both Bricklayer and I can handle it.

Thank you.

I surely hope that they are not the type of people to do that. As the city of Detroit would do, let the fans handle it!!! J/K

felt really bad for that loss.
why Kings could not cruise on the eastern road as before?

Now Rockets are just 1.5 game behind,

personally, I prefer Kings to play Seattle instead of Dallas in the 1st round of playoff.

There seems to be a contingent of people on these boards who think the Kings "deserved" to lose these games because they were close at the end and they were lacking in one area or another (rebounding, defense, Webber's shooting %).

Regardless of how the team arrived at a close score in the final minute or two, whether it was a come from behind effort or losing a double digit lead, Each team should expect a fair opportunity to try and win the game. If a team deserves to win only when every aspect of their game is good, then no team in the nba would be above .500

You only have 5 posts so far but I am very impressed with the quality of them. Keep it up.
