Been thinking about our bench the last few days and was pondering who I would want here if we were to go 9 deep on a nightly basis....
First off I would try to get Hedo back (yah I am a fan boy). The guy can play guard all the way to PF. If he would come off the bench as a sixth man and play 25-30 mins a night spelling the SG to PF if needed and spot start.
Next up is a player of the likes of Jeff Foster... Yes I said his name. If there was a way for us to get him out of Indy I would take him in a heartbeat. Proven rebounding big man that has been in the league for a few years.
SAR would be our post game off the bench. Another guy who would play his part, and someone that KNOWS THEIR ROLE..
The only type of player that is left off is the small 6'1 or so 195lbs guy that runs the floor like a lightning bolt. I would rather he come via free agent than develop Price. Price disappears too much from games. He will never be a take control guy like BJax. I say we go for a proven littleman.
This would be my ideal bench... Problem is we only have one of those guys in SAR.. So if we are rebuilding this summer that's what I would like our plan to be.
