Probably gonna jinx it with this post but he is over halfway there at this point.
Didn't realize he was on one right now. Looks like he's at 42, so he actually needs 43 more. That means he has 2.5 chances out of a thousand to complete it on this go.
I'm not sure he earned this yet. He also has a 4.50 ERA and 20 walks in 38 innings. It's not going to get easier for him to find his control in MLB.
But the A's rarely do anything which makes sense to me prospect development-wise. They could have had an extra top 100 draft pick from Kurtz winning RoY last year if they'd managed his promotion better. Gage Jump being a frontline starter needs to happen for this team to start winning consistently so I sincerely hope they don't screw him up by promoting him too fast.

How is this team so bad at home? They are on their way to getting swept by the mariners. Last nights game was horrible. Couldn’t hit, couldn’t pitch, couldn’t do anything. Other teams come here and kill it. I don’t get it.

They went through the entire order once without recording an out. I’ve seen some bad baseball but that was certainly up there.
