rockets vs spurs !!

wow did anyone see what t-mac did down 10 with 1:00 min left in the game !! he hit 3 threes and made one of them a 4 point play !!! wow the rockets are down only 2 with 11 seconds left now, still spurs balls , wow what a crazy player T-Mac is

TMAC game winning 3's, all four of em. 13 pts im 33 seconds including the game winning 3 with 2 sec left.

T Mack is unbelivable!... what a great shot... series of shots. There are some Houston fans who left early who are hitting them selves n the forehead now!

I caught parts of the game and the final minute or so. Great victory for the Rockets. This also helps Kings out as far as catching up to the Spurs is concerned.

If you let your guy shoot four 3-point shots in 33 seconds, you've got some 'splainin' to do.

Who was supposed to guard him?
Bowen was on him on the first 3 pointer, on the second it was Duncan (and1 with that one), Bowen again, and then the 4th 3 pointer in transition with 2 seconds left.

Belive it or not, it was Bowen's gig and he was all over T-Mac... crazy shooting just crazy!

yao and tmac combined for 60 of houstons 81 points.... and were the only rockets in double figures, if this isnt shaq-kobe part 2, then i dont know what is.

I had written the Rockets off and was listening to the Mavs trying to comeback against the Sonics (in the end to no avail)...mad at myself for not sticking with TMac.

Just my luck. I turn the TV off with about 2 min to go and the Spurs up double digits thinking they'll win and I don't want to listen to Steve Kerr anymore.

spurs got robbed by TMac! what a comeback! i've given up on this one & have considered this in the bag for the Spurs but unpredictable as it is, Rockets win! that was crazy

wow , even after i watched the game and then the hi-lites , its still crazy to see how T-Mac took those crazy threes , they were tough ones too...

On the on-court post-game interview he was talking about it when he broke modesty and composure a bit, laughed, and said something like: "I've never been a part of anything like this, so you gotta excuse me."

That finish was one of those sports moments you watch sports for...

Yup... but to put it in to perspective it was a regualr season game. Fun to watch and memeable but not that important.

I watched the game.....the entire game...and could not believe 3 of those 4 shots. I then saw them again on TNT's halftime report of the Celtics/Blazers. After seeing those shots a second time............

I still can't believe what I saw. :D

The clock is no friend of the San Antonio Spurs

First they have one of the most unbelievable finishes in sports history with the least amount of time possible by one of the most least lilkely players on that team. .4, 'nuff said.

And now this. 13pts in less than 40 seconds?

THAT WAS THE CRAZY!!!!!!

13 points for t-mac in 35 SECONDS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

and he was making them with bowen in his grill. that 4 point play off duncan DAMN!!!! man oh man, he just could not miss in those last seconds.

that was AWESOME! i don't think kobe has ever done anything like that.

This is an NBA record. The biggest deficit to come back in the last minute.

I never thought I could witness that. I was watching the Sonics - Mavs game on FSN. During the time outs I was switching the channels. I saw Spurs leading by 11. In the next time out in the Sonics game when I switched back, the difference was 4 and the time elapsed was just 22 seconds!! It is unbelievable.

What this proves to me:

A) T-Mac really is THAT good
B) Van Gundy, as much as I love the guy, is the WRONG GUY for THIS team
C) A little depth wouldn't hurt the Rockets

I agree with all of these points, but I think it brings into question a few others...

1) TMac is not the right guy to play with Yao at the moment. He is too used to getting all of his stuff off of one-on-one moves. Hopefully he can learn that if he plays off of Yao, he can be even more unstoppable.

2) JVG is clearly the wrong guy for this current crop, mainly because he has no idea how to coach offense for Yao. He knows how to coach TMac...heck, who doesn't on offense, but he is wasting Yao's considerable offensive abilities by not allowing him to be more of a focal point of the offense and have his hands on the ball not only to score, but to distribute.

3) Yao still hasn't played with a legitimate PG yet. Scary.
