Kings v. Raptors PBP thread - 1/5

Wow. It feels like I just got done doing a PBP.

Again, I have the purple slippers, lucky socks, Christie jersey and Kings blankey ready for this afternoon's game. The coffee maker is set to come on at 3:30, ensuring a freshly-brewed pot of Gevalia Hazelnut Kaffe by game time.

I haven't touched my lucky totems - they must be in the right spots so I'm not going to mess with karma.

Just a brief commercial because I'm sure you can say it along with me by now:

I won't bother any of you with the details of the "House Party." I'm trying to save my spleen, although I've never known why we have a spleen - just like I don't know why we have appendix.

Oh, questions for the off-season! I'll have to make a note.

Kings miss; Raps board.

Alston in and out, board bounces around and Miller finally gets it.

Kings ball.

Webber jumper gets a bad bounce; Raps ball.

Araujo goes most of the way in and goes back out; Kings board.

DC pass to Pedja is great, but Pedja misses the lay-up. At the line...

Webber starting to play Bosh tighter, gets called for non-shooting foul.

MO-Pete miss; Pedja board.

Bibby about to pass to WEbber, sees nothing but daylight and goes inside for his underhand loop shot AND draws the +1.

17-12 KINGS

Raps ball.

Jalen into the game. Driving against DC, draws the foul.

Jalen to the line.

Alston pokes the ball out of Bibby's hand and gets the breakaway for two.

Webber miss; Bosh board. Goes all the way and gets the bucket.

ACK! Webber drives inside, puts up the lay-up which goes in, around and pops back out. I don't think Chris could buy a bucket right now.

Raps time out and commercial.

Kings bring in Darius and Mo for Miller and DC.

Jalen draws foul from Mo, at the line...

Raps miss; Kings board.

Bibby looks to pass to Pedja, unfortunately Mo doesn't see what's happening and steps between them. Ball oob off Kings.
