Oladipo being out helps but that gives players like Sabonis & Turner that many more opportunities to punish the Kings on the inside. The Kings need to get this one to right the ship again. Hopefully they come out with urgency to start the game and not find themselves down double digits early in the game.

I'm not too worried about Turner. I don't know what happened to him... he was looking so good to start his career but his stats have dropped off a cliff from two years ago, and also a little below last year now as well. His development appears to have stopped. He's maddeningly inconsistent, similar to WCS. I haven't seen him play too much so couldn't tell you if he's still defending at a high level.

From what I remember, Indiana was blasted for the Oladipo & Sabonis for P. George trade at the time, but WOW does that trade now look incredible for Indiana. I always thought Oladipo had untapped potential, and now he's a star. On defense he racks up the steals too. I also thought a lot of people slept on Sabonis in that trade, almost discarding him as filler, which I thought was odd. Loved him coming out of college and watching him play his rookie year, he looked solid. He's now an absolute double-double machine.

I fully expect Sabonis to dominate WCS on the boards tonight.. I hope he proves me wrong. WCS needs to hit the glass harder, period.

Bagley has to play for the Kings to have a chance. Last thing I heard was that his back was a day to day thing. Probably a game time decision.

The whole team needs to hit the boards.....it’s not a 1 guy thing. But yeah, agreed on the trade. I thought it odd that Sabonis was overlooked in that deal. I’m curious to,watch because Sabonis is better than Turner yet gets his minutes off the bench.

I’m thinking of going but probably not if Bagley isn’t playing. I tend to limit myself to a few games but try and get close to court side.....so selfishly, Bags needs to play

I think they play Thad Young at PF, but he's only 6'8" so I've never liked that fit for him. The problem they face is that their 2nd unit front court depth is pretty poor. TJ Leaf is looking like a slight bust at the moment. I feel like Turner is strictly a C while Sabonis is capable of playing both PF and C. If they were to, say, insert Sabonis into the starting lineup as PF and move Thad (or Bogdanovich) to SF/PF off the bench, then the depth just gets even worse. I can't imagine they even consider removing Turner from the starting lineup.

They picked up Kyle O'Quinn in the offseason and IMO he is criminally underutilized. He hardly plays, currently averaging like 6 MPG. He's mainly a rebounding specialist, but his FG% last year was 58% so he's at least efficient on offense. I think their lineup should be:

Collison
Oladipo
Bogdanovich
Sabonis
Turner

Joseph
Evans/Holiday
Young/McDermott
Young/Leaf
O'Quinn

Evans can also play a bit of SF and PG too.

It won't be easy, but this is winnable!

Really hoping Bags plays, but I don't want him to rush a back injury, spasms can become a chronic issue.

Fox and Buddy need to find their mojo for us to have a chance. I'm just gonna assume Sabonis will destroy WCS, but maybe Trill can even it out by going for an efficient double double.

Kings need this game!

I hear Bags doesn't look good to play. KK will have a hard time guarding those bigs... I think WCS better be our hero, because I don't see our bugs macltxhing up with theirs very good. Maybe Harry, but he looks stiff on D, plus those skilled bigs may put 5 fouls on him in 5 mins. Our guards better be fantastic or we are going to get killed.

So wait.....WCS outplays Gobert 2 out of 3 games and now he can’t match up with the Indiana bigs? Myles Turner Is very similar to WCS and then Sabonis and Koufos looks like a solid matchup.

Gobert is a different kind of big than Sabonis or Turner, but if you are replying to me than I should have said, I am more worried about of PF position and who ever is coming off the bench. But I still remember that, it never seems like Willie never gets the best of Turner.
