Long before there was an NBA team in Sacramento, I was a fan of the Boston Celtics. I still hold a little warmth in my heart for them... but not to the point where I want to see them demolish our Kings. They come into G1C with a record of 48-23 and more than enough tools in their belt (even without Kyrie Irving) to make it a long night for the Kings. Not sure if Jaylen Brown will play, as he's shown on the injury report as being in the concussion protocol.
Looking at the Celtics, it appears they may actually be one of the few NBA teams to not have a former King on their roster so one thing we won't be worrying about is a Tony Delk-type performance.
As far as the Kings go, I'm guessing Zach will be over his gastroentiritis but I'm not so sure about Garrett Temple, who was actually sporting a stylish walking boot at last night's game. That ankle may not be ready by Sunday.
It's another Sunday matinee, which never bodes well for the Kings. I'd personally start giving them coffee IV's early in the day but there's probably some kind of NBA rule against that.
Personal note: Thanks to all for understanding why we don't allow discussion of hot topic issues. Your cooperation was and is greatly appreciated.
GO KINGS!
