Hall of Famer
Hope You all are recovering from the "most biased / annoying broadcast" ever. I just hope that Kings fans remember this for the next time when TNT crew shows up at ARCO. Nothing serious - just to let them know how much they SUCK
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
Tonight - ESPN broadcast - possibility of BW being in the building so -

WALTON ALERT

Just in case. I will be out of town - not watching the game. (taping it just in case). Feels like some kind of the cruel joke having to listen to Walton after Kerr. Hopefully for all of You - he will be somwhere else.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Not much to talk about the game. We lost again. It was very hard playing shorthanded against 8 opponents on the floor. We showed that we can compeate against them. Unfortunately, we got outcoached and "outrefereed" in the last 6 minutes of the game.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Tonight's game will not be any easier considering there is absolutely noone to guard McGrady. We are hurt and probably tired from last night. Let's hope we can avoid a losing streak tonight. February will be really "cruel" to us if we are not somewhat healthy.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hard to talk about individual players - not knowing who will play and who won't. I doubt Pedja will, Webber should not and House should have been left behind in San Antonio (coincidentally). I hope that somebody will hit a three earlier than 2:20 to go in the game. Also would be nicw if we move the ball and stop forcing action. Mobley plays Houston so he should have a decent game. Maybe we can "ride on" his back tonight.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
Houston is better than they were earlier in he season. They picked up some shooters. Somebody might have a career high tonight.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------

Go Jazz !
Go Celtics !
Go Nets!
Go Warriors!

"Jerry Reynolds, Sacramento's director of player personnel, said Stojakovic's back has been bothering him recently, but he is expected back in the lineup when the Kings play in Houston on Friday night."

Makes no sense bu it would help - only in case that Pedja feels good enough to be effective. He should not do what Webber did last night. While it was very admirable to play hurt and try to help the team - I would rather see healthy players out there. No need to hurt the team even more. No game is worth making injury worse and risking missing more games.

I hope you're right. I really don't think I could handle a back to back with Kerr and Walton!

That's the whole problem. Of course I want the Kings to win, but playing injured doesn't really make sense unless it's the playoffs & it's do or die time. Otherwise, it makes more sense to get healthy to prevent turning a 2 week injury into a 2 month injury.

I check at Yahoo TV and you're right, iheartBrad. It's going to be on ESPN. Not ESPN2. Strange. But it's still going to be on News10 for the locals too.

am i the only one who is really bothered by the fact that in the title of this thread Rockets is spelled with two T's

misspelled words is a pet peeve of mine...more like a OCD actually...i wish i could go fix it

I'm not so much bothered by the misspelling as I am by the recurring image of the Kings driving the lane and getting kicked in the nose by a line of women dancing in step. ;)

Out of curiosity - why is everyone hating on walton. I don't remember him ever saying anything against the Kings - in fact, I don't remember him ever saying anything negative at all (its his hippie drugs I tell you). But seriously, whats up with the Walton hatred?

i don't know exactly why everyone hates...i think some people think he's a Laker homer, others think he's weird some think he's an idiot

me, i love Bill Walton...i think he's hilarious...he always makes the games more fun for me to watch...yes he from time to time will say things thats annoying or that pisses me off...but he's the only analyst that makes me laugh out loud at least 2-4 times a game...Tom Tolbert...i may laugh at 1 or 2 things he says..but i love Bill...to me he's very realistic...he says exactly what you are thinking as a fan of the game...same with Tom Tolbert...he's REALLY not afraid to hold back

I don't hate Bill Walton, but I certainly don't like him as a commentator because of the gross exaggeration that he applies to nearly everything he says. Taken at face value, his comments are completely absurd. It tends to be worse when the Kings are losing or playing a team with a much greater reputation (like the Lakers), because a comment that for example should be "Robert Horry is a good defender" becomes "Robert Horry, one of the greatest defensive power forwards of all time". Then, when he says that immediately after Webber abuses Horry and scores over him, it makes the Kings faithful say, "Ewwww!"

see i like when he has the exaggerations...

everyone is "the greatest of all time" or "the best to ever play the game"

i just think its so funny...right now im cracking up

Yao has been ballin of late...being a lot more aggressive...

i don't know how we are going to contain a player like Bobby Sura...he's near triple double almost every night...and he's playin some of the best ball of his career right now...he is actually my #1 concern of this game

Cleary if Pejda isnt healthy he shouldnt play.... and Webber shouldnt force himself to play because he isnt there , i really dont want us to force more injuries are a meaningless regular season game....

Im SERIOUS.. if the officials don't do their job tonight...ahh:mad: .. and the game was SO SLOPPY last night it was disgusting.. the spurs had no pressure on them it was so easy for them.. Brad.. when your guy is in front of the basket, don't go "wow":p ..ALSO..did anybody see chris? he didn't look himself, it was like a different person that took over him, I didn't see him smile one second! Okay, the game is over now.. but I just want these things to be corrected for tonight.

GO KINGS!!!

Tom Tolbert

It's just a lose-lose situation for Kings fans, isn't it? I wouldn't be surprised if Dick Bavetta was assigned to ref our game tonight. If it is Tolbert, expect to hear issues about how we lost all of our depth once Hedo and Pollard left, because you know, they were the cornerstones of our franchise. Oh yeah, this will be the 48th time I've heard it if he does indeed say it. What's the over/under on how many times he says it?
