Besides the 11 Kings with contracts, the following 9 have been invited to pre-season training camp.

Matt Barnes, 6-7, 235 UCLA 2002 (local guy who is on bubble)
Tony Bland, 6-5, 201, SDSU 2003
Erik Daniels, 6-8, 214, Kentucky, 2004 (this guy is a banger-rebounder!)
Maurice Evans, 6-5, 220, Texas 2001
Anwar Ferguson, 7-0, 200, Houston 2004
Alton Ford, 6-9, 280, Houston 2004
Liu Wei, 6-3, 198, China
Adam Parada, 7-0, 265, UC Irvine 2004 (is a true back-to-the-basket 5)
Cortney Alexander, 6-5, 195, Fresno State 2000 (bounced around NBA)

I think Barnes and Daniels will compete for one slot. Alexandria seems to have game but why has he been on 3 teams in 3 years? He and Barnes are "locals" but that doesn't get one a slon on the Kings.

Part of the reason he's been on 3 teams in 3 years is you have to remember, when Courtney was on Washington at first, he averaged 17 pts a game, then Jordan came back, and had no choice but to let Jordan be the dominant scorer, plus they had Stackhouse who was a ball hog too which didnt leave much for Courtney, then he went to N.O. where they already had 2 established scorers and only asked him to contribute off the bench, which he did, averaging 8 points, and I dont blame him for wanting to come here, the Hornets are kinda in trouble, if ya havent noticed. I think he'll fit in here just fine and bring great energy and shooting to our bench.

How about Alton Ford, he might as well be the one.

Re Alton Ford, at 6-9 and 280 if he was a keeper he would not have bounced around as much. But then again don't know about injuries and he did come out after his freshman year, like our ole favorite Gerald Wallace. Both looked great but really need 1-2 more college years to get their game going. Lets see what he does in the first preseason game then we can watch him on ESPN in China vs. the Rockets.
