Kings-Clippers PBP thread - 1/15

Good afternoon, fellow Kings fans!

Well, things are looking pretty interesting. Now that Doug is officially with the Magic, Cat and Bradley (we can't call him Mike and we can't call him MB and we can't call him Brad - so what do we call him?????) will be in uniform tonight and ready to play. Will Cat start? Or will Mo the magnificent get the nod?

There's one thing you can count on from now on - things aren't going to be the way they've always been. We have new blood; we have a different dynamic; we have the Kings but this 2005 version is going to take a little getting used to. We certainly aren't going to be bored!!!

I have the requisite purple slippers, lucky socks, Kings blankey and Kings "trekkie" t-shirt. My Christie jersey is now in a place of honor with my Vlade bobbleheads...

It's time to look forward to some great basketball and tonight's game should be a good one!

I'll be back a little before game time. Since the game is being broadcast on News10, we'll still have Grant and Jerry but we won't have the 1/2 hour pre-game House Party.

I feel like it may be Martin with the start tonight. I don't think they should play Evans for medical purposes. Cat will come off the bench with 20-25 min. Adelman is not one to just throw somebody in the starting lineup that has never practiced with the team.

At least Cuttino has a cool nickname - The Cat. I really like that.

I'm thinking my "six more fouls" choice for Bradley might be a tad insensitive. So I guess it could be Michael. Brad and M-Brad just doesn't sound right.

I guess we'll just have to pay attention and see what the team calls him.

I usually call Brad Miller "Bradley" whenever he don't shoot or not play well. So I'm not sure what to call Michael Bradley. For now, I'll just call him by his full name. Or just Michael since I don't call Mike Bibby "Michael".

Is it true that tonight is retro jersey night in celebrating the Kings 20 years?

Should be an exciting game. A game I finally get to watch on TV since the Warriors game. GO KINGS!!!!

Rick Kamla is putting Pedja > than magette in tonights game because of Pedja's 30+ ppg 49%+ f/g streak the last 3 games and counting....

News10 just said Mo and Tag will play. Cat and Michael are in uniform and available. Bibby has been alternating ice and heat on his ankle all day because he really wants to play.
